you play the champions league (with a different name) in career mode in your second season. if you qualify of course

A patch should also be done to fix it... everytime you make the CL.. i am chelsea in the CL.. and i am in the same group as Arsenal Liverpool, and Manchester United... this is very unreleastic.. there are also some other bugs in it

i dunno how come everyone gets same country teams, i did a CL as man u, ok i admit i got chelsea, but arsenal and liverpool were in separate different groups

I know that the Champs. League can't be unlocked on the Ps2, but is there a tourney that is similar to it?

Is there anywhere I can see a breakdown of the Cups and the formats they take?

Im not exactly sure what it'll feature. I think there will be kits, boots, balls and stadiums as well as some player updates but I'm not 100% sure about that. A bit more info can be found here

All we need is a patch that will simply change the way teams end up in groups for champions league. Forget faces, kits stadiums etc. It seems it should come down to just rewriting a few things somewhere in the game.

I did end up in 2nd place ONE time where the Champions League groups were finally mixed up and very random. Hardly any teams from same league were grouped up. Just the one time though...strange.
