Chance Of Ignite For PC

Hey

I was wondering if there is even the slightest chance that they will release ignite in a patch, for FIFA 14 on PC. Or if maybe a petition would make them do it, I don't want to buy a console.It's a waste of money, when you already have a pc.And there is no point buying a console just to play one game.

You can start petitions on change.org, I don't know how many signings are required. I don't know how many who actually wants this. But I have a feeling the majority of PC players would like to be able to play next-gen fifa.

I just need to know if there is a chance or a point in doing this.

Xbox 360 came out in 2005, Then it took till 2011 for FIFA to be at the same standard.

Seriously? That is complete bullshit, everyone knows PC's are a lot stronger than consoles. EA are just out for the money again, if the new engine is not on PC next FIFA, I'm not gonna buy it.

There is zero chance of a patch to get Ignite on PC; the best we can hope for is that the Ignite version was held back in order to give the NG consoles their boost at launch.

But I'm fully prepared for a six year wait again; I expect it in fact.

In the meantime, buy Fifa 14 CG; it is still a great game. Play in Pro Cam - it's like you're down there on the pitch and it completely freshens up the game on the pitch. However if the years go by and Fifa still isn't Igniting the PC, the gap will grow bigger and bigger. That's when I can see myself going back over to PES, like last time EA scored this idiotic own goal.

I don't think it's that much of a graphical leap, other than with the crowd which is amazing. It's also very disappointing that EA still haven't made proper team celebrations - still the same two man crap as CG.

The one difference is that I don't think the PS4 is as big a leap over the PS3 as the PS3 was over the PS2 so the wait might not be as long. Who knows with EA...

It is ridiculous though that gaming is constantly tied to the slowest machines that don't change their hardware at all, instead of the machine that breaks all the new ground - the PC.

i expect ea to kill of the pc series completely, consoles is where the money is and their simply isn't enough people playing on a pc these days for them to spend the time working on porting the ignite engine to the pc.

because a console costs four to five hundred dollars as opposed to pc hardware that could run you thousands of dollars and constantly needs to be upgraded as new games are released.

It's a shame, but as things go, I will go for a console just to play fifa.
PC Version is a joke.
Ignite is a joke, too, because it looks like current gen with some tweaks. But those tweaks are so important to me (Animations, TV like presentation, atmosphere, realism) that I need to buy a console. I don't believe fifa 15 on pc to be with ignite. So that's it.

I've tried the FIFA 14 NG on PS4 at a commercial shop. The only difference with FIFA CG PC is the 3d crowd and some animation added.The game itself can be ported on PC easily with little PC specs incrementation because the consoles are multicore optimized.
Not to mention that the next year PES will be better, and will does his debut on nextgen after the good work (after the last patch) they've done on PC. So if EA won't lose next year they've to switch on NG for PC users as well.
So, wait. Don't buy a NG console for now, they're expensive. If you have money buy a PC, with the new configurations you can play with 4k resolutions instead a full hd with limitations.

Every year they release ''joke'' games as you put it because consumers don't hold them to higher standards. I don't care what you do obviously, it's your money. But when people complain about the game's quality and say things like screw EA, then I speak up. People need to take responsibility for their part in all this. The game is what it is because of undiscerning consumers who will go out and buy anything. Don't blame EA.

Hi pedrito. I don't think the game is a joke BTW, I'm enjoying FIFA 14 very much. Just saying people are free to waste their money on a carbon-copy NG version if they choose, but they need to stop blaming EA and start looking in the mirror.

Yes,thank to you I am enjoying too the fifa 14 CG. Only I hope that fifa 15 will be also for PC .

I did read whit NG,no fauls,no shoots out box.I dont understand because the ppl buy this game if already they have the game.I dont want think that they spend 500 Euros only to watch out of stadium.

I wanted to write a long answer. But in fact, you are right. It's wrong, what EA does, I know what they do, I buy it, it's my own fault.

But from the point I paid for something, I have the right to critizise it. Edit: Oh, and, btw, I really think the new way the kits look in ng fifa is soooooooooooooo ugly They are so incompetent in designing realistic player models. I mean, that's not how a kit look like on a players body So thick and wide... and the player bodies still look weird. Look at 2k games, that are awesome player models.
And the 3d grass is weird, too. I mean it's almost like they would play on a farmers field EA never heard of a lawnmower^^

Damn, you know, it's all about the presentation. If you'd give me ballboys, new camera angles, new animations and the new replays on current gen I would give you all my money I AM A FUCKING IDIOT, BUT I WANT IT SO BADLY! Pls, someone kick my ass^^
