i guess he means that real would not probably get £60 million out for one player.
real may be rich enough to sign top stars, but value for money is at least half important.
to chelsea money is no object.
people will hopefully realise this and bleed the cnuts dry in future. i'd demand £50 million for any player chelsea want, just because you know they can pay it.
and they ain't having ruud - would he want to go there to be a part of the striker rotation where even crespo can't seem to play more than 1 in every 2? not likely.

This one seems a bit more serious than the Henry bid but Ruud said that if Real came with an offer, that anything could happen and well nothing seems to be happening so I doubt that Chelsea will get him either !

I personally don't see Rudd Van Nistelrooy leaving Manchester United given the support that team has shown him as well as his performances in Old Crapper thus far in his career. I certainly don't see him leaving United to go to another EPL team, that's for sure.
While I'm almost positive that RVN will get the contract extension completed with Sir Alex and Manchester, I think that if he *were* to leave the club then Real Madrid would be a much more viable option.
I can't see Sir Alex allowing him to go to another English team and strengthening their biggest rivals. This is not a Veron... this is a top 3 striker in the world.

I heard Chelsea wanted to try and sign Crespo, but they forgot they already had him.
Chelsea wana buy the title....if they haven't already ! Ok, but the players have to gel as a unit....Crespo, Gudjohensen, Hasselbaink and Van Nistelrooy ! Yikes...that would be some rotation....I don't think that Ruud will be happy with rotation..he' s hungry for records and Chelsea means no records just aim for the title and forget individual stats !
