Thanks man. I'm not disappointed by our performance. We did extremely well against a team who have scored more that 100 goals...(its like that one team in your division as a school boy that just dominated the division).

After this match, we proved we can play against a team like Barca's calibre, and I'm sure of one thing tonight, the only teams in the world that can beat Barca is Chelsea and Manchester United.

We exploited the weaknesses in the back with the not-so-popular long ball which terrorized the Barca defence. I thoroughly enjoyed the battle between Drogba and Toure/Pique and Malouda and Alves. We had so many great opportunities. And Bison with his goal..just brilliant.

I'm so glad that we didn't buy Dani Alves. This game showed how big of douche bag he is, and I'm glad that he's gonna miss the final. But I do feel for Fletcher and Abidal. Atleast Abidal shouldn't have been sent off, that's for sure.

Okay, so now to the ref. I'm going to say that he had a solid first half, except the Malouda/Alves inside/outside the box foul. When the second half started, he didnt call anything for us. But there was at least five penalty appeals. Not all of them should be awarded, but the blatant hand-ball by Pique and the tussle between Alves and Malouda should at least result in one penalty. That one penalty would've sent us through.

As for Drogba in the end, I would've done the same thing. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do but I would've reacted the same way.

Back to Barca, we stopped them from playing. Chelsea intimated them. They lacked fluency, at least in the final third but in the end Iniesta (Barca's Lampard) came up and scored, likewise as he did against Stoke, Liverpool, Wigan and NUMEROUS other times. I'm extremely proud of this team and I'm disappointed that a referee ruined a great game.

I feel so bad for Lampard and Terry. They can't believe that this has happened again. 2 minutes away from revenge.

Next year, the CL is ours. You bet your life it is. Barnebau here we come!!

naahh. It was just an unfortunate sequence of events. No need to go thru conspiracy theories even if there may be hints of it.

Deep down all of us wants to go tell the ref what we were thinking(the Drog did just that) but I'm not going to dwell further into that. There's just nothing we can do about it.

Chelsea plays the best tactical football in the world but they screwed up it the last minute. Why did you do this to me? I rooted for you all game long.:(

You guys quite deserved to win this match and did good play but it was quite sad of unluck(mayb not:().
As I am not a fan of Chelsea but I was depressed about the match.

Btw referee of this match(I forgot his name...)also did a referee on match Romania-Italy(UE2008). He did bad decision and of that reason, he didn't assigned by referee of final. I think it is not a power of UEFA... Only referee fvck...

ref. was crap for both sides...like drogba and hiddink told after firts leg, the rival should take care about what you do wrong and not referee mystakes...

i will suppor chelsea in the fa cup final, they deserve something. good luck.

Well i can say, as a football fan, i realy realize that the ref. was crap, but also i need to say we never put our self at back, we searched for the game, we tried and tried, until we got it, what Chelsea should have done is to go for the game after Abidal was out , but "The one that doesn´t do it, would see it done". Thats what happend, i am not a Chelsea fan, but i really understand how you feel, but what i can say we diserve it from the first game and we were scoreless, and thanks INIESTA!!!!!!!! Blaugraaannaaa alll veeeennnt , uuuu criiii valleeeeentt, teeeniii unnn nommmm el sap tothom Barça!Barça!Barça!!!!

Yeah, karma. If karma is to be believed than you're a reincarnation of someone real bitter in your previous life. You're a top class whiner. I'd call you a troll, but even they could string together a few sentences correctly.

Anyway, focusing on the Arsenal match now. I'm still gunning for 2nd place which is more that achievable. I think Guus will ring the changes after Wednesday's travesty, with players like Quaresma, Mikel and Kalou playing. LETS GO BLUES! I LOVE THIS TEAM, LETS GO BEAT THE KIDS AND THEN WIN THE CUP.

Cole will be back next year, we need a right midfielder/winger (obviously Quaresma didn't work or get a chance and was a loan). Either Beletti or Ferreira will be gone. I'm tired of our two aging/inconsistent strikers. Kalou won't be ripping up the league either. Would be fantastic to land Tevez but probably not. Aging is the only concern (Deco and Ballack come to mind in the midfield). Don't expect any big changes other than management though (where I hope Kenyon/Buck leave).

Good article here, a squad review covering our defense this year:

We don't need any major changes, just a player or two in and out, and some changes to our approach in management. We have a lot of aging guys and very few kids coming up the ranks who can take over in the next two years. ManU and Arsenal have a lot more promise in their youngtsers, probably because they give them more chances to play than we let ours. I've barely seen anything from guys like Stoch and Mancienne.

I'm hoping that both Anelka and Drogba stay and that they help Sahar mature, so that when either of them leave, he'll step up. Otherwise, I'd really love for us to sign Huntelaar, assuming Madrid want to sell him, which is what I've heard. Both Drogba and Anelka are amongst the best at the moment, and they just need a manager who can bring it out of them. We really need some stability since Mourinho and a good manager who can bring the most out of our academy and our current squad is essential. I dunno what to make of Ancelotti, not that keen, honestly, we'll see.

First thing's first though, bring on the FA Cup!

If Poland weren't in the EU, he wouldn't have bothered getting Polish citizenship, only reason I'm trying to.

I'm just saying. His mother is Polish so I thought he might play for us. Our FA is always late with convincing players with Polish origin to play for Poland. He's not the first and not the last one we've lost.
