I saw the game on TSN and regarding Juoaquin, he's the only player on Betis that looked to be any danger and even he didn't do much although Betis was good in the 1st half. I want to squash those Juaquin rumours though, he will not be moving to Chelsea since we already have a good young RM/RWM in Wright-Phillips and also Robben can play there. I could see a Central AM as a more likeley target.

Good to see Carlo contenpt at Chelsea.

It's a special day in my life as I make this 2000th post of the Chelsea thread. I'm so honoured....

Virgo.....couldn't agree more mate....i cant believe people quote a computer game as an indication of how good a player might be in real life.....and post 2 screenshots as proof????????.....its very wierd............

Vazza .....why give Treble a hard time man?......he is always positive about us so i cant see the harm he does......i'm not having a go at a fellow Blue of course.Maybe i'm missing something here,i dont know.......... :)

Yeah, Pede, I know he tries to contribute but it just irks me that he supports two big clubs and most of the stuff he says is obvious or rubbish.

did you see Pires f.u.c.k.up the penalty just now.He puts the ball on the spot.Rolls his foot over it,thereby having touched it,the Man City guys take it upfield and the ref waves play on.Arsenal are so dumb its funny.
They are 1-0 up due to a certain dive by Henry and Man City have had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside that wasn't......Cheating desperate losers.....oh and the ref is rubbish........

Spuds have scored at Man U.....1-1 so far

Wigan have beaten Villa 2-0........whahahahahahaaaa...good on 'em

Guys, were all fans of the same team, so rubbish or no, that should always be kept in mind. On another note, the discussion here is fantastic now: this is now the 6th largest team thread on the board: considering the number of fans Juve, Madrid, ManYoo etc have, thats fantastic (Y)


-Anyway, I thought the FM thing was a pisstake from the first post :( In any event, Im not sure Carlo played as a matter of Jose's annoyance at what was Cech's first not-so-great-game ever at Chelsea, but I think it was a case of getting him games and resting the latter. But its really fantastic to see a true blue like Cudicinni rewarded for sticking with the club. He could be a number one at so many top clubs and yet he stays loyal.

-If that penalty hadve been the only one the arse got this weekend, and they had cocked it up royally like that to blow their chances at all three points, today would have been almost perfect. Spuds drop, Mancs drop, Liverpool look like fools, Fulham sent off their legend with a big win. If we thrash Everton tomorrow, I will be fu*king ecstatic, not because I hate them (I actually want to see Moyes turn it around), but could things seriously get any better?

This has to be the first time ive felt secure following a sports team that the other shoe isnt about to drpo, and something terrible isnt going to happen to f*ck up all the success.

I know that he's an ironman and maybe the worlds best player, but I hope that Frank Lampard gets a rest tomorrow against Everton. They are the last place team and I don't see them climbing into the top 10 so I'd be happy to see Cudicini start and Eidur Gudjonsson or Crespo in instead of Drogba. Maybe by resting Lampard, they can have Essien as a DM, and Joe Cole as an AM and Gudjohnsen as a forward/am.

With the whole Football Manager thing and Carlo Cudicini, Carlo's one of the world's top 5 goalies I'd say but Petr Cech is another one and Cech is younger. The people who make those games are under a time limit and they can't look at each player's stats so closely. Also you'll notice that some players in those games are underrated but they're stars in real life. You don't have to be the most skillful player to be good. Anyways archkiller, you're wasting your when you judge players by their stats in some game and I hope that you post more and ignore anyone who tells you to piss off.

No. Lampard wants to play and he must play. That kind of resting of players can prove dangerous when the league is still there to be won. Its not like playing a CL game in a group were you have qualified.

Any such content that leads to a dropping of points is unacceptable, we are Chelsea and we are ruthless.
