Well I am not lying, I am a steward in the Amsterdam Arena and I had my lunch-break near the skyboxes were he hired one with his family, but he is hard to notice he isn't as flashy as you would expect from someone with a lot of money

If you are aware of the events that unfolded at Chelsea, you would realise that Gallas lost his number because of the threats he made and for not showing up for pre season training.. Gallas was already history when that happened.

You surprise me Shifty. You think someone who would stoop so low is awesome?....that says something negative about you mate.

By the way, what happened when Fergie decided to slag Beckham off in the media (through "people close to him" )?.....Nothing at all. His vitriol about Beckham fitted in nicely with all the Beckham haters thoughts, so Fergie recieved backing and not critisism from everyone. Fergie did a similar thing to Stamm, and that was ok too was it?......Neither of those players has ever hit back at Fergie or Man U and its fans. Think about that.

Its because its Chelsea and you know that really.

You'll never find somebody who supports and fights for the rights of players more than I do. I can quit my job tomorrow and go work for a rival company across town and frankly, I think players should be able to do the same damn thing. No one should be forced to work at a job they hate, I don't care how much money is involved.

William Gallas moans for three years, turns down a huge contract, insults the fans, insults his manager, decieves his teammates and fans, lies about his career demands, goes to a rival, slags off his old club, and reportedly threatened to deliberately screw up, and he, somehow, is a legend.

The club says nothing and we look like the guilty party who was going to toss him in the reserves

The club makes a statement and withholds its reasons and people claim theyre making things up

The club makes a statement and enumerates what was said and people claim theyre being petty

WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU PEOPLE WANT?

This club has become a circus. I think in two seasons Kenyon is fired, Mourinho moves on, and quite possibly, Abramovich is gone if things dont improve after that.

so..Chelsea pay ungodly amount of money for shevchenko, in your opinion, if he misses Italy he should be able to leave whenever he wants and just go back to Italy with AC?

Because that will cause a hell of alot of craziness if he could.

Yes.

Take that into account when you make your bid. Shevchenko has already decided to leave Milan and Italy to come to Chelsea, just like me taking a new job that pays better in a different country. In all likelihood there are numerous factors that contributed to him leaving Italy and he will stay at Chelsea.

If it was another club, of course I would man. I would still think the player was a prick though. Its completely out of order mate.

Absolutely, Gallas is a c*nt, no doubt. But from a mutual point of view, the entire thing is just comical. But Chelsea had a right to speak out, seeing as it was William Gallas that started talking crap.

Football has some different rules and the players have to accept them.

Not all the rules are against the players. If tomorrow my boss decides to fire me, he would have to pay me a small amount of money. If Barça wanted to fire Saviola, they had to pay the rest of his contract, about 5m€. Both club and player have obligations. Sometimes the rules are better for the players, sometimes they're better for the club. Everybody should accept those rules because this is not like a normal job. The fans and the club that pay them deserve some respect. If the players don't like it, they should try to find another job so they can do all that you say.

So any player showing a scent of unhappiness should be allowed to jump ship in other words completely rendering the concept of contracts useless? That would bring complete chaos to football....

I don't think you can draw parallels between an everyday occupation and a football player. Football players sign contracts legally binding them to that football club. If they are unhappy then fine they can request a transfer but if the club refuses them i am a staunch believer the player should accept that and honour their contract until it expires or the club are in a position to sell the player.

Players have way too much power nowadays and revelations about Gallas have taken it to a whole new level. Threatening to score an own goal? That's is ludicrous and quite frankly babyish.

I'm 100% behind Chelsea in this situation.

:funny: Nick ...your sexuality is not an issue with me man. I told you that a long time ago when you "came out" to me. I would never betray that trust sweetie. :funny:

What were you saying about petty insults and abuse? Your post has its fair share sonny. Now c'mon. ged oop them stairs lad or i'll smack thee botty.

Hey does your mam know you swear like that?

:| yes so you did go down the old mature road. Your arguments are nothing related to football but you always have to have the final say.

The sexuality card, my you haven't played that one before :boohoo:

Abramovich is not leaviing hes going to stay he has 13 billion dollars, i mean him wanting to build a new stadium or increase capacity at stamford bridge (i doubt it) means hes here for the long run, BUT WE MUST FIRE KENYON , he has a bad rep . Gallas is lil fool, hes going to leave Arsenal ne ways after the summer and move to AC Milan , mark my words

TheBlueBalla

We will likely play a formation that sees one of them, most likely Cole, as a leftsided midfielder, considering we have only wingers, not outside mids

Stamford Bridge cant and shouldnt be expanded. Its fine to meet the clubs needs right now. Who cares about a new stadium?

There's not enough of a regular fanbase inside of London to need a new stadium right now.

Wayne Bridge should hopefully get plenty of playing time if we can stay and do well in the Champs League,League Cup, and FA Cup. We have a goood squad so Mr. Mourinho should utilise it as best as possible.

Oh and I that that the picture of Gudjohnsen was Peter Crouch for a second in BlueBalla's sig

I know all champion's are unpopular but I think Mourinho thinks thet you're supposed go out of your way to be hated. This is not the case. Why did you go public with your attack on Gallas? What was the point? Keep it off the newspapaers and you reap the rewards later.

I have to agree with you on this one. When chelsea were down here in The US and made their public signgings on the Santa Monitca Adidas Store, Abramovich was walking around the store wearing regular clothes. If you didn't know who he was you would have thought he was just another fan. He is not the flashy type person, wich is something i respect from him.

ahem....more capacity....more money :drevil: ... and helps establish ur self as a big club, b/c all the big clubs have giant stadiums. Abramovich is smart he knows that Chelsea cant live off his wealth forever so hes making a base, a 60,000+ seater where u can get loads of money of reciepts and also marketing around the world to establish global fanbase. HEs plannign for the future , right now the bridge capacity is only like 42 ,000+ thats nothing compared to Camp Nou, Tratford, Bernabeu, San Siro, thats why Chelsea need more capacity. also more capacity means cheaper ticket prices . Rumor is Chelsea may buy Earls Court which that can turn into a 65,000+ seater stadium and then use the Bridge until that stadium is ready.
