Compdata FIFA 20 vs FIFA 22

if I insert my modified compdata into the game the same thing happens. The game now starts without crashing but the preseason tournaments are no longer selectable. However, the modification to the PreSeasonTours file doesn't have a direct correlation with the compdata. If I wanted to exclude nations from preseason tournaments I should be able to do so regardless of the compdata. At least I think so.

Okay I've tried a clean CompData, deleted the AFC area and deleted the leagues of all afc leagues entries in the leagues table in database. Startet and tested a new season....everything works perfectly. No crashing....Are you sure that you have no worng numbers in Comp??

So my last post for today :D If you deleted all AFC area in Comp correctly + leauge table in db (i think competition isnt so important), then delete the entries in preSeasonTours in data direction, in the subdirection of closedbeta + PreSeasonToursNames and all files with league Ids you've deleted.

Your explanations should get a sticky post in FIfa 22 thread. ;-)
Very clear and hard to find someone who is ready to share his knowledge.
I often think about creating something similar for lower german leagues. I mean lower than 4th Division like Slim did with EEP. Like my villages league structure. But I don´t know where to start. :-)

The lines from 1561 to 1649 belong to the AFC area (Asian Continental Confederation). If you delete this completely, you must of course continue to number everything that comes after 1649 consecutively.
So the next one becomes:

1650,1,CNBL, ,0
1651,3,C1015,TrophyName_Abbr15_1015,1650
1652,4,S1,FCE_Final,1651
1653,5,G1, ,1652

1561,1,CNBL, ,0
1562,3,C1015,TrophyName_Abbr15_1015,1561

And so on... and when you are done with that, you have to edit all other files from the CompData folder, too, i.e. delete the lines between 1561 and 1649 and adjust the others accordingly. But be careful:
Sometimes IDs are applied even before that, whose assignment is then no longer correct and thus the game crashes!

To edit all these things clearly (otherwise you will literally go crazy) I recommend to use a spreadsheet program (for example Excel).
Here you can easily change the numbers with various macros, in seconds and without much effort and especially without errors!

Hi ! Can you explain how to edit all compdata files with excel ? I'm trying to add more games to the French National Cup (because i added 60 teams in 4 different leagues in France). A man explained me how to add these games but i need to add lines. Adding lines need pushing down the lines below (i know how to do that, i just need to enter in a cell "=D15" instead of "43" for example.

But at the end of every row we have a row number that define in which competition the row is used.
How to modify automatically this number if i add a new row ?
Example : if i want to add a game in a competition, i'll add the row 45 but row 45 already exist and it define for example a 2nd round, so it'll push down every row to row+1. Then i'll need for (example) row 52 : "52, match idk, 45" which define a game in 2nd round.
The question how to make this automatic in order to modify the 45 to 46 if i had a row ?
And finally how to edit this for other compdata files that use these row numbers too (for example Task file call the line 45 to explain something, if i move the line from 45 to 46 in compobj, can i make this automatic in Task too in order to write 46) ?

I'm sorry but I can't help you. I don't work on excel but on notepad. I create the structure, insert it and then modify the numbers with the "replace" option from the "modify" menu. p.s. without Google Translate I would be ruined :D

So it takes a lot of time with notepad if you do everything line per line no ?

I could, but unfortunately the complete structure is written in German. I don't think you would be able to handle that.
