That's couse Gotze has been playing the CL and fighting for the BL title the last 3 years. Illaramendi is as good though if not better. I still rate Isco better than him though. So far Madrid has had a better transfer season than Barca.

Sir_Didier_Drogba, you have to ask yourself how many (really) good supporting midfielders there are and what price they go for. The players you listed are a striker and attacking mid. People as good as the likes of Moutinho are in high demand.

Illarramendi is a complete midfielder. Great range of passing, almost never loses possession and has good positioning. He was instrumental in Real Sociedad reaching the CL last season and Spain winning the U21 Euro.
