Now, I dont count the FIFA forums as real SG, and I also dont count santups' three word posts as real posts.

And by those standards I consider 'ShiftyPowers from SG' to be SG's first member to ever hit the coveted 20'000 post milestone.

He might have let us all down with a mediocre 20'000th post, and he probably wants to brush the whole thing under the rug, but I am not going to let him.

A tremendous victory for the USA, pulling out a late win against England (Tom) whom at one point was odds on favourite to cruise to the title.

Looking down the members list, no-one else really compares for quality and quantity, I've always had a but of a man crush on Shifty*my. Also considering that most of the members within 5k of ShiftyPowers are currently very inactive, he really is beyond compare. He may be flying solo for a while, our Sultan of SG.

I've long come to look to 'Soccergaming member ShiftyPowers (aka Donnie Darko aka Shifty*i aka fudgepacker brown) as Mr SG.

I think I picked it out when Avatars were introduced. Either that or when I signed up. It was before 9/11 I remember that, because they introduced a bigger USA Flag avatar that I refused to change to.

It doesn't seem that many. But 4.5 posts per day for 12 years does.

So, let's say an average of 5 minutes per post, that's 22.5 minutes per day.

22.5 x 4383 = 98617.5 minutes = 1643.625 hours = 68.5 days spent posting on SG.

Actually, that's not so bad.

It's not much more than two months, probably less time than you've spent masturbating in the last twelve years. But maybe that counts as significantly bettering yourself.

I think 5 minutes per post is high, but then maybe its accurate in taking into account how much I have read on here. It wouldn't surprise me if I was closing in on 10k hours though; I feel like I understand message boards at least.

You are usually one of SG's slower posters, I know because I monitor these things, for you I think the 5 minute estimate may be too small. Me and Horatiu are two of the fastest.
