Constant 60 FPS & Stutters

Hello guys, i have a weird problem with FIFA 15.
Fraps shows constant and solid 60fps all the time (cutscenes, replays..), although i get stuttering when moving the camera on freekicks, corners and goal kicks even though it shows a solid 60fps. I tried the Pro mode camera and the game run flawlessly at a constant & smooth 60fps, so i'm very confused about this problem.

More infos: I've already applied the fix, disabled the frame cap from FIFA settings and activated adaptative Vsync on nvidia control panel, it fixed the stuttering during the game except on the situations mentionned above. I also tried the game at the lowest possible settings but i always get the same results. I'm playing on a i7 3770 / gtx 750ti SC / 8GB RAM.

Anyone knows a fix for this? Or is it meant to be this way with everyone? Please help me out guys, thanks in advance.

Fix that worked for me this year with the micro stutter was lowering my monitor resolution. Never had to do that before, but this year my PC specs are min required, so I was having issues. But at least I can run the game. Don't know why you would be having issues though, your specs are more than enough.

Thanks for replying mate, although i tried to lower the resolution on the fifa settings but it didn't fix the microstuttering. Were you talking about lowering resolution from the game settings or on the desktop?

EDIT: i tried both, didn't help :/ it must be something else other than the resolution

I can tell you the nvidia GT series of cards are finnicky. FIFA 15 runs fine on my laptop with the 460 card, and FIFA 13 runs perfectly. But on my laptop with the 650 card, I can't get FIFA 15 or FIFA 13 to run without stuttering.

Have you tried setting all nvidia panel settings to off or lowest? Then raise them up again one at a time to test to see what's causing the problems, that's what I've done in the past

I've tried that, but no changes were noticed. And FYI i had no problems AT ALL with fifa 14, it run perfectly on the highest settings, the same goes for fifa 13 of course. The problem shouldn't be this irritating although it's been bothering me a lot, more than it should be.
I only wanted to know if the game should be running with no lag/stuttering on goal kicks and corners, can you confirm that? If that's the case, i'll keep looking into the problem until i get it solved.
Thanks again mate/

You've tried all the stutter fixes. It's obviously a hardware issue on your end: your video card needs updating, or you've got other programs running and hogging memory, or something. Maybe you need to do a scan and clean up your rig, who knows.

First though you need to open your nvidia control panel and set all options to off: shader cache, texture filtering, thread optimization, vertical sync, etc. If you do that, yes, you will definitely notice both graphical and performance changes. And you need to leave those settings off while you search for a fix, it's counter-productive for you to turn any of those options back on if you're still getting stuttering.

Did you disable "Origin in-game" for it?
yeah that's the first thing i tried.

I tried all the fixes i could think of, turned down all the graphics settings on NVCP and fifa setting, but no changes were noticed on the situations i get mico-stuttering, i even tried the lowed resolution but nothing happened.
About the hardware, my hardware isn't anywhere near being used at 100%, average CPU usage is around 20-30% at max, ram 40-50%, GPU load is around 30-50% when everything is maxed, although i noticed it goes up to 90-99% on corners and free kicks no matter how low or high the graphics settings are set, although i get a constant 60fps which makes me wonder if it's my gpu or the game. What do you guys think?

i tried that, i disabled all settings but nothings changed, i'll just try this on another system and see if it works.

Info from a thread on Evoweb...

If that can help/interest anyone having issues with input lag/responsiveness I've spent a lot of time and I'm happy to report that I have found a setup which gave me entire satsifaction.

I have an AMD Radeon R9 290 so it involves the use of Radeon software, sorry for Nvidia users but I don't know what equivalent software could be used instead.

1/ Make sure in the PES settings that you use DirectInput instead of Xinput
2/ In Radeon Pro, create a profile for PES 2015.exe
3/ In Radeon Pro, "Tweaks" tab, set Vysync control to "Always On"
4/ In Radeon Pro, "Tweaks" tab, tick the "Triple buffering" option
5/ In Radeon Pro, "Tweaks" tab, tick the "Force Process High Priority" option
6/ In Radeon Pro, "Advanced" tab, set the "Flip Queue Size" to 0
7/ In Radeon Pro, right click on your Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 profile and click on "Apply Now".

Now you can lauch the game via Radeon Pro and voila, enjoy ;-)

Note that I am not claiming the above settings will give the game the level of responsiveness some of you would want as I believe it is simply not possible due to the engine desing/gameplay choices made by the developpers. It does however, at least in my case, clearly improves responsiveness and input lag compared to the default game setup.

And before you ask yes I have tried dozens of other settings (vsync off/on, limiting framerate, force refresh rate,...) as well as making use of a third party window borderless software (BorderlessGaming 6.5 if anyone is interested in trying it). At the end the above is what provides me the best results.

Also just to clarify a common misconception Direct3D triple buffering does not create input lag, in the contrary it helps minimizing it when using vertical synchronization (if you are interested like I am you'll easily find many detailed and technical articles on the subject on the internet). It only real drawback is that it increase GPU memory usage but to be honest on modern graphic cards the effect is pretty insignificant.

The other technology which is sometimes incorrectly named "triple buffering" consists in fact in rendering ahead buffers and that can indeed result in input lag but is useful to improve GPU performance. It is adressed in Radeon Pro with step /6 by forcing the Flip queue to 0 (by default AMD drivers has it set to 3)

Final summary, I'm just trying to help here I do not pretend to have indisputable truth or knowledge. The above recommendations are the result of my research on the topic/problem and the result of my personal testing.
