The Problem for being unable to do tricks with the right stick while being able to use movement arrows
FIX:I made this fix after alot of trying and comparing buttondata's

Download and just copy and paste it in fifa's folder, tested and tried , WORKING 100% on controllers type 2in1 USB

P.S:MUST TURN ON ANALOG(MODE)

Fix for Unsupported Gamepads

Go to start >Type "regedit" in search area >Open it>Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER">System>Curent Control Set>Control>Media Properties>Private Properties>Joystick>OEM>VID_08100&PID_0001

P.S: The "VID_08100&PID_0001" is changeable according to your own pc

you'll see a list of names , DoubleClick on "OEMName" , you're supposed to see your joystick's name , now change it to "Generic USB Joystick" or"Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2"
go to fifaconfig , and choose the name you've put , now you can play normally !

if you are willing to buy games, then you should be willing to buy a universal controller like the 360 controller for your games.

dont be cheap save yourself some aggravation.

the thing is here in egypt this controller is 3x the price of the gameitself ^^ , and my twin usb controller works well with every game ... only fifa , am not cheap =P .. beside i bought this one 1 week ago

it didnt work aswell , but much thanks for your efforts , the same problem that i cant move with arrows on the LS , it'd work if someone gives me the save like in fifa 11
Settings0 20110913130915% , it works in fifa 11 i can move with arrows normally , so i think it can be done with a save file with the proper movements and so on , anyway thanks for your work !

i just went searching for other controllers and i bought some new ones , but same ... wel they are more advanced ,,, but same problem . 2 connected in 1 usb ... what i shall do ? i searched all place's here in egypt and they told me this is the only version of gamepad's that comes here , they worked in fifa 11 , someone gave me his save's with proper buttons and it worked then , i c'd edit buttons ... but here i cant in fifa 12 =.=" EA are just awesome ..

I have both PS2 and XBOX controller, but I use XBOX, this one:

You can actually change/rotate analog or classic arrows, regarding what suits you better.

i only used the fix for unsupported wich was changing the regname , now fifa reads it , but like i said left stich is movment and movment arrows are doin nothing , i'd love to know how to change/rotate them !

the one in red > supposed to be movemenet keys (and they are if ANALOG OFF)
one in black *LS*(are movemenet keys when i turn analog ON) wich i dont want
one in yellow *RS* are the stick for making tricks that only works when i turn ANALOG ON, so what i want now , is to make the movemenet keys work while analog on so i can do tricks , and to make the LS do nothing else ... P.S: i tried on 3-4 diffrent controllers of other brands here and same problem .

I have joypad like for sony...same buttons...everything but when i try to import joypad game crash...i'll try to copy from FIFA 11 Button data setup but when i start the game 50 % from my buttons doesn't work... movement doesn't work,shot button doesn't work...please somebody help me

Finally FIXED ! , i compared alot of buttondata.ini 's and compared them to the working one 100% i had on fifa 11 . i seperated everything button map into a notepad , and i finally got to a fix after changing Dpad's to Axis and Axis to Axis2 wich i think is when i turn on analog , i'll upload my ButtonData that works 100% and tested on my controllers wich i posted a picture at my last post

no stanley , your fix didnt seem to work for me , but i made a fix myself ,based on fifa 11 button mapping , now my controllers work 100% :) , check my fix i upload'd it ! thanks for help bro
