Nice first half, a good amount of goals, Colombia is a being a bit harsh with the fouls Verón got 3 bad ones but the one against Mascherano was criminal. I don't think it was really a penalty but oh well. Messi had some good appearances, so did Verón, Riquelme is being the best of Argentina so far, a pretty good free kick indeed. Good thing both Verón and Heinze could stay in the pitch seeing that they got small injuries, surprised Mascherano is still fine after that tackle. Hopefully Tevez is coming for the second half to close the match, also hopefully Verón will get a free kick for himself.

Hey guys, I know Colombia is eliminated. But does the U.S still have a chance?? I know we would have to beat colombia, but is still possible to qualify right??

no, Argentian and Paraguay have two wins each, U.S can only manage one win if they beat Colombia.

Deserved win, but an overall disappointing game by Argentina once more. We had a pretty good first half, but got too carried away with keeping posession in the second half. Instead of looking for the fourth goal earlier on, we let them come to us. Verón had a bad game, and should have been subbed in earlier. I would have also liked to see Tévez and Aimar earlier on. Our defense needs a lot of work, as we could have easily conceeded some stupid goals. MOTM Riquelme and Messi for me today. Shame about Crespo though :(

I guess the players weren't in a hurry to score another goal in the second half because Colombia didn't seem threatening but they got a better attitude towards the game which they didn't have in the game against Paraguay and in the first half here, it's a pity because they coudl've had more chances with this atittude when they were needing it, but then again Argentina without too much effort showed its class, probably the 4th goal should've came earlier in the match. Once again Mascherano is very important in the miofield, he recovered every ball that passed by. The colombian players are complaining about the referee, well they exactly fit to complain since there should've been more than 1 red card for them.:nape:

Crespo may miss the rest of cup...

Good result...but our players took a nap in the second half...it was almost obvious we needed some fresh legs (Carlitos or Pablito)...

Great performance by Roman...this is the Roman we want in the NT!!!

Mascherano, he is a Terminator...when i saw the Arizala foul, i thought his leg went out of the stadium...

Crespo injured, is bad news...can Diegol or Carlitos replace him..? we'll see...

Where was Messi assembled...? He is something different...
