The US is defending well, putting a lot of pressure on the Argentines, but apart from Johnsons pace they offering nothing in attack.

Nice shot of Verón near the ending, there was also a good shot from U.S..
Argentina has the ball but they are just doing circus they aren't really doing anything effective, Riquelme is doing crosses but they are very dodgy, if they are staying back they should try with more shots like Verón did, Crespo is being null as usual other for the tap-in, Tevez should come on for the second half.

except for that shot Veron has been pretty poor, launching many balls up front but almost never in good conditions for the forwards...
yeah the penalty was retarded, Johnson was already panicking for being alone in front of the goal...doesn't mean he wouldn't eventually score though

Well US is no "picnic", trust me 
They are specialist in this type of games, they have beaten Mexico like these many times defending very good and effective counter attacks, but Argentina is not Mexico and has a lot of world class players, so if they cant manage to win tis it would be a big surprise
