Corners and Centre-Halves

Can anyone tell me how you get your centre-halves into the penalty area for corners? Is it possible to do it?

the only thing i can think of is to change the players positions around. i.e the players in the box you don't want that are small or rubbish at headers change with your centre backs i.e Terry with Duff or SWP

Select Strategy in the formation screen, then select CB overlap and you can choose one of ur centre backs to overlap, meaning he will make runs into the box, therefor be up for corners and when your players cross from the wide areas, it can be a bit dangerous at times leaving ur defence exposed, but is worth a try.

Another way is by putting All attack on, hold down L2 and tap R2 on ur controller so that it goes to red this meaning full attack, then change kicker at the corner and the settings should apply, alot more players should be in the box for your corner.

I've tried the CB overlap mullarchey and that didn't seem to work, so will have to try the other sugggestions. Thanks everyone.

The second thing lil?kewell said works. You set it so it\s to red(all attack) and then you change cornerkicker.. Then at least one of your CB's will be in the box

if you have set full attack watch the radar and you'll see your CB coming forwards, so wait til he arrives before taking the corner, kinda like real footy!!

Yep, I just managed to get Ferdinand up into the box for a corner.

Kinda not llike real footy, as you don't wait until teams are all out attacking for them to get there centre backs in the box

In real footy, both CB's would be in the box during corners. It's a bit annoying, but nothing major.

yes that's right, most teams don't attack at corners do they nor do they wait for the players to jog forward! Normally Chelsea take their corners while Terry is half way to the area
And all the defenders normally storm forward when a team is playing defensive to protect a lead

Not always, depends on the team, normally a defender or 2 is left with the other teams forward around the half way line, though I agree it isn't often a CB
