Counter-Strike 1.6 Non Steam Download

spurs4life what happened to that thread of getting nonsteam servers?

my friends are getting pissed a tme cuz wen we want to play together the nonsteam servers have high ping while they can go on low ping servers

and the link doesnt work cuz of some reason, dunno why, can u chek it again?

Hey i need some help. but first let me explain my situation.
Back in the day of CS1.5 i was able to play with my Slow modem and not lag that much. but with Steam i cant even get into the game. is there any way to download 1.6 but not need to play on the internet? or is that what this thing that ur talking about is? because i just want to play on Lan, with myself or a friend on another computer (hooked up through LAN at my house) and add in some bots. that what i used to do in 1.5.. we had fun.. DL some aimbot and take on 31 godlike bots.. good times. but Steam was made to ruin everything. anyhelp would b good.. thx

my friend has steam on a couple computers and we do LAN stuff at his house too. But with this non-steam thing do you need to be ONLINE to play cs 1.6 if u create a LAN game between a network of computers at my house?

well now u dont need nonsteam anymore, u can play with steam without a cd key... just chek the links

I'm playing CS 1.6 on steam. It's okay IMO.
