Tournament Bug

I have the following problem: I imported tournaments from another fifa.db-file using your new cmp-format. Everything seems fine, the tournaments (schedule, gui, teams etc.) look exactly the same as in the fifa.db I exported the tournaments from! But now when I access the career or tournament modus FIFA crashes to the Desktop. I am by no means a newbee when it comes to tournament editing. I have used your tournement master very often as long as it is available. So I know that possible issues are not enough time to play the games etc. Could the problem be a bug in the CMP-File?

I am grateful for any suggestions!

If it crashes immediately in tournament mode it is probably something related to the pick-up of the teams. In the CMP format a tournament can contain references to other tournaments and to teams that, if not included in the cmp and not found in the destination database, remains undefined when the tournament is imported and must be assigned manually. This is the first check I suggest to do.

You are right, when I imported the tournaments some white fields where blank because the appropriate teams could not be found in my database. So I selected the appropriate teams of my database manually. Everything is now just as in the other database or so it seems at least.

Does the CMP-Import file only check whether the right team-id is present when importing the tournament or does it check whether the name of the team is present as well? If it also checks the name of the team, I could try to reimport the tournaments now that all necessary team-names are present.

honestly, don't waste the time of busy people with useless questions you could have so easily answered yourself. there are enough people with problems they REALLY can't find a solution for - after trying everything, like reading through the whole thread!

Hi, Rinaldo!
I just wanted to post a bug I perceived while editing my Fifa with CM 07.
Every time I save, my fifa.db gets a little bigger. I noticed this is because CM 07 is re-writing table_international_id on every save, instead of simply overwriting it.

- When I import a grafical file "Ball, Kit, flag, banner and more" at want to do that many times in a roll, it always starts up in default "documents". Can there be a script that can be changes so when you want more files it remembers where you where before, and not having to go through all the folders again to get to the grafics?
Is that possible?

sure man, there is a simple solution.
simply go to tools menu and choose options before opening the fifa files with CM, in the default import/export section, uncheck Auto and choose your prefered path.

try to put all your graphics in the same folder, each time you want to import a file, CM will automatically open this path

Unfortunately the game still crashes when I access career or tournament mode... So that was not the decisive fault in the db

Hey RInaldo i have a problem with your tool after i edit with it there is not any players in the game. Not on the transfer screen and not at the team managment...

This table is no longer used by FIFA 07 while it was necessary in FIFA 06. This cannot be the reason.

You can use your current fifa.db but not the files saved in my documents!

Do you mean that international_ids contains multiple records with the same team (this would be a wrong condition) or simply that more records appear in the table (this could be a normal condition) ? Please check which is the case and let me know.
