You could have just said, "Thanks for the tutorial and help, I'll give it a try." And that would have been it. And people here would have been willing to help you if you got stuck.

If you want to make bespoke, custom modifications to the game then at least put some effort in and learn how to do it yourself.

Also, while you're at it, try learning some manners too.

No, it's none of my business and no, I'm not a moderator nor do I have the right to dictate anything. But is there really a valid useful reason for continuing this?

Hey guys, I know this is probably a bit unrelated but does anyone know the name of the file where the LOD can be changed? I modded a few years back but I forgot what its called. haha p.s. if anyone also knows what value I should change for high lod would be much appreciated.

You're not going to get a friendly answer to this question. What you're asking involves a great deal of work by people who know how to spend a lot of time modifying complicated tables in the game. It's not enough to say please because it sounds from the outside like you want something without working on it or that you'd like something soon with the least amount of effort possible. If you understood how tough it is, you'd feel bad about asking for it. It's like walking into a friend's house and saying, "Can you make me dinner please, with dessert and may I have a drink please?" Doesn't matter how much you say please, the request is excessive.

So, what you're better off doing is checking out the forums -- which, yes, means spending time here reading and chatting -- and see who is already offering things that could get you part of the way there, see what you might need to do by learning some of the tools, and then fill in the gaps by reading through how you can modify the game to your liking by learning CG File Explorer. Read posts by @regularcat @msrajjc2 @bangus @TheAwesomeGem to name a few.

Why can't someone just give it to you? Maybe they will. There are a lot of really nice and helpful people here. But surely it's far far more polite to just be nice and chat and see if you're invited to dinner than just invite yourself and demand what you want to eat. Isn't it?

Only two things can cause not figuring out how to do a modification to this game.
1. Not having the knowledge of how it's done, which can be aided by reading and asking and taking apart what you want to do step by step. And no, there is no other waythat doesn't take time. Lots and lots of time where you make small steps.
2. If you ARE asking questions and not getting anywhere, you're asking the wrong way or the wrong question.

I can't give you any more help than that and people have been really generous with you. It may not seem that way because you are lost on how to do what you want but people have been VERY generous. This isn't a Youtube video where you follow steps and that's that. This place you should see as more of a communal work site. There is no, "click here to get this". If that's what you need, you're in the wrong place. Go with one of the premade mods here or at moddingway or elsewhere and just live with that. You want more, learn.

Somebody here has been teaching me some really basic modding because I've shown a genuine interest in learning it myself. And because I'm not trying to get to the moon in my first trip. Just read and ask. Seriously. You want the newest and latest, wait for FIFA 19. I don't know what to tell you. This isn't meant with anger in any way but you insist on asking for things repeatedly that are final solutions. That's why it's clear to people here that you just want your solution and want it now and don't care to put the time in. You're not gonna find anyone willing to help you that way. I'm telling you, go get Fifa Infinity, go get some of the stuff on moddingway. Then ask those people how to tweak what they've done.

And by the way you still haven't told us if you have a cracked version of the game. Because if you do, that's why you aren't gettting anywhere. Plus that isn't supported here. Or anywhere else I know of so if that's the case, you're not gonna get anywhere.

i have the original it could be an update causing this issue i think i will wait for fifa 19 i allready uninstalled because im tired of trying

Hello, I am a beginner modder.I am trying to convert the world cup teams to the men's national team. I was successful but the badge did not load but the team plays. When am successful with the badge however trying to play with the team crashes. Can someone please tell how to convert the teams.my method is copying teams, team kits, teamplayer links and league team links and pasting them in fifa.ng.db. db. Thanks
