DB Master 11 Beta 2 **update**

The Beta 2 Version of DB Master 11 is now available, it contains the following changes:

- Fixed a crash when importing tables.
- Fixed a bug when copy\paste records
- Fixed a bug in saving compressed strings (e.g. playernames table)
- Reordered the fields of the main tables for easier editing
- Partial implementation of IntelliEdit

And it has the following known problems:

- Hashid of language database is still unknown.
- Database expansion stil not implemented.

I've tested DB Master 11 today.

Using DBM11, I managed to create one National team, i.e. Malaysia NT and place correctly at INTERNATIONAL League.

Here is what I did in these few hours in Vista 64bit:
1. Run DBM11 in standard/limited user mode. Need to run as administrator to run successfully.
2. Copy Database from main, taking more than a minutes to finish. Check DBM11 recreate data0.bh and data0.big without problem while creating NEW FOLDER named DB in DATA folder. Find fifa_ng_db.db and fifa_ng_db-meta.xml files.

Now the fun part begins.

1. Go to menu, FILE and Open DB selected. Open fifa_ng_db-meta.xml and fifa_ng_db.db files. Patience is important as it takes a few seconds.
2. Familiarise with the structure and understanding the similarity with previous DBM series.
3. Export single Tables for a few selected tables.
4. Editing using internal DBM and Excel continuosly, and run fifa11 for testing.
5. The game did crash but due to inconsistency of data-linkage (database maker will know about this). Solve it and after a couple of hours manage to make the team run flawlessly, albeit with missing faces and kits texture.
6. Extract kits RX3 from data3 file. I use Australia kit to double as Malaysia (for testing purposes). Renaming the Rx3 files from kit_1415_0_0.rx3 to kit_1408_0_0.rx3.

THe best stuff is, I just placed all three kits file, kit_1408_0_0.rx3 to kit_1408_0_3.rx3 to <drive>:\\<folders>\EA Sports\FIFA 11\Game\data\sceneassets\kit and it works without and need for remaking BH file. The samething goes to minikits. I simply extract original australia minikits and placed it into FIFA 11\Game\data\ui\artAssets\kits\ folders.
In the game, I can see the minikits and jersey.

The only tedious task was checking and understanding the data ID between tables.

Now, I only need to relearn to create KITS for my first NT team to show the public. Need to understand how to add or create individual RX3 files with customised graphics.

Minor bugs happen when I import unicode TXT table into the DB. Sometimes all number change! Also bugs happens during CLOSE. I want to Exit. When asked 'WANT TO SAVE', I select NO, and ERROR WINDOWS prompted. I just click QUIT.
Also by making CUSTOMISED TEAM, Eventhough I already type team name in TEAMS table, during ingame, The team name are missing. Turns out, the team name are from other data (maybe). Last FIFA10, it's in eng.db, so may be similar structure do exist in fifa11 with different name.


In conclusion, DBM11 work TO MY EXPECTATION, just like previous DBM. Love it.
Whatever the bugs is, I still think you deserve a credit. Thanks Rinaldo.

Lol, I have done the same for ita.db language. But great work!!!

so if anyone can tell me how to create (if possible) players/teams/leagues mainly .. basic stuff, so i can start workin on CEP db.

Just tested DBMaster with the demo and found out that it's db contains an entry about PS3-exclusive FIWC Stadium in the stadium list. :)
