Can somebody please explain me the best way to defend. Becouse i am so pissed off right now. My ooponent always have atleast 3 players after mine every time and they just take it away in every situation, while mine is somewhere near goal and the opponent always can shoot from far away or beat my defence becouse they can't do hell to take a ball away normally, they ususally run past it.

Just please explain me everything you do, what buttons you press, what strategy u use. Everything.

verpakovskis try pressing "R1 + square + X" at the same time and run with does 3 buttons pressed.... you would have like 3 players of your team chasing the one with the ball until they take him the ball away, and best of all you would never get a card.... not even yellow... but maybe you woul get a lot of faults, but who cares???.... the point is winning.... only one thing more, take care of the counter attacks

And can you please explain me the best way to take the ball away with one player? When i try to make pressure, opponent either overrun me or he dribble past mine player. While his defender can take ball easily away.

defend with X button pressed.... in that way your player will always be looking for the ball instead of the player.... remember the PRACTICE MADE THE MASTER

I have another problem with defence...sometimes, the computer does a through pass which goes RIGHT BESIDE my defender, and instead of stopping it, he lets it go past and starts running after it . In fact, this happens way too often and the computer keeps getting these retarded breakaaways. I don't know how to make my player STOP the ball

there are 2 ways that I know..... slide tackle (a little bit difficult, because it have to be very fast) and R1+R2 ( these one is more effective, because you get control of the player and not the computer)

i think the most important thing when defending 1v1 is not to sprint unless running alongside him or chasing him. If you sprint towards the striker, he will likely take it past you and leave you in his dust.
Just hold X for pressure on the ball and only start to sprint if he gets past you or is alongside you.

That being said, if your going to do a slide tackle, it needs to be done quick so that the doesnt anticipate the slide tackle. so sprinting in to a slide tackle would be ok i think.

Thats just my thoughts on defending.. works alright for me
