Demand For PES In The US !!

Demand is very high for PES 08 in the United States. So why do they make people wait so long after they release it in Europe ?? Does anyone have an idea ??

They first sell it in Europe because that is where it sells the strongest and it gives them an opportunity to fix issues or bugs the game might have so it is as good as can be when it comes to the US...

Don't worry, by February it should definately be here I'm guessing ;)

Indeed PES 2008 was not as good as expected but if you want it so much you can still order it online it's quite cheap as well. Not sure for you Americans though as for us in Europe it's worth because shopping online is cheaper and now that the dollar is around 0,60 euro it's worth a lot (for me it's like 50% cheaper than going to buy it in the local store)

Yeah I agree...it has been an overhyped game...once you'll play it you'll realize it's not THAT fantastic...

If you want it for PC do what I did: order it from the UK. The site I got it from was hmv.co.uk ;)

Because demand is actuley VERY LOW for this game in USA and Canada compared to others.

just because you really want it doesn't mean the rest of the country does. PES is not a big seller in North America. I don't have access to the numbers but i'm guessing that PES is way down on the list as far as top selling games goes.

Konami soccer winning eleven in North america is not worth it for online gaming. its very terrible. The only gamers u will see are mostly the japanesse and brazilians. If u are lucky, u will see about 26 [max] people from usa. normally i see about 7 usa players and sometimes none at all. u will see people like Lazilo often; he is also a member of this forum. If u dont believe me try it for urself; however offline, it is fun. There is nothing like pes 4 online gaming. its one of the best bcos of p2p connection.

I know this isnt indicitive of sales, but everytime I go to buy the new edition of the game, its sold out everywhere. Probably because they dont ship a lot of copies, but just thought I'd point that out.

Your right, not many copies are shipped. If there was money to be made they'd ship as many as they need to. Anyway the 2008 version isn't that good anyway, the editing has been paired down too which really sucks.
