I'm satisfied with the punishment as well. Though I wish FIFA and UEFA would be more strict about things like this, at least they came up with something...
And please don't call football a racist sport since you find racists everywhere and they really are the minority. I agree that too much leniency is shown by the governing bodies of football but calling this the "worst day in football" really is over the top when you consider how many worse things have happened in football, the death of Antonio Puerta(rest his soul) and the Heysel disaster spring to mind.

can I have a list of the punishment giving to these WHITE players? i do not think its fair to hide the truth any longer. FIFA and UEFA are racist. these dives in the link above cannot be said to be worse than Dida's .I want someone to compile the ban those players got and post it here. I will no longer support a sport that discriminates on my people!

Well today is the most ugly day in football, and i have ceased to support a racist and hopeless sport. ** I spit on the sport with disgust***

1.) Celtic are spanked with a feather for lack of security?

2.) Messi and Rooney the cheats are nevr punished

3.) Eto'o was humilited and insulted by zaragoza fans twice. while eto'o cried openly on the pitch, UEFA did nothing substantial

4.) zorro was humiliated and cursed y inter fans. Zorro wept on the pitch, UEFA did nothing.

5.) Fowler made bigoted comments towards Le Saux, and the authorities did nothing.

Today, it is clear to me that Football is a racist and bigoted sport. They are quick to punish Dida, while racist fans and bigoted players walk away with no punishment? I am disgusted at football, and today i take off my chain of support for the sport. never again will i be associated with such racist and disgusting sport. The priorities of the sport is indeed mistaken!

I'm am very happy that Dida got banned. Maybe that'll be a lesson. Well I'm black, so am I racist?? By the way, that Lithuanian dude that dove to get the penalty against Scotland also got a 2 match ban. Hmmm...racism?? So you're saying only white guys dive and are not punnished? I remember a few years ago this guy that played for Porto, also black, he was diving the whole game. Not a single card for him. Richard, why only single out Rooney and Messi? There are FAR bigger cheats in football than those guys. Why not mention Drogba? Gerrard? Ronaldinho? And bringing a racism issue into this is just laughable. You are a dumbass plain and simple. Remind me again, what exactly have the higher authorities done punish players like Drogba?
