Difficulty level - what difficulty? Video included

A long time fan of the fifa series particulary fifa 08, I've just purchased 09 and can't believe what EA have done to the difficulty level.

Playing on World Class I can run rings through the defence of any team, its no longer a challenge? Has anyone else found this too easy and if so what can be done about it. i.e adjusting files. Thanks! :)

In the video link below you can see a great example of how defenders refuse to attack a player who is goal box bound. Here Keane runs straight at the goal and Arsenals defenders actually run AWAY from him lol. The goalkeeper stands his line far too long. Oh well rant over - would like to know how to unlock legendary that might make a difference? (without doing it manually)

EA decided to tone down the difficulty because too many n00bs were bitching FIFA 08 is hard. lol They should have learned to play the game and not complain about it all the time.

Yeah, I find that the difficulty on legendary is how it should be on world class. Legendary is much more of a challenge, but it should be almost impossible to win on imo... So still too easy, but definitely far better than WC!

Even if it's not the WC difficulty in the vid, the point still stands, it's a lot easier to beat high diff opponents in FIFA 09

depens on the player again, i found WC too easy aswell, legendary is OK in my opinion. Too bad the AI gets almost all of their equalizers from free kicks

No, no no, thats not world Class. Fifa 09 is really hard almost like 08.

The scary thing is it really is World Class and I have no reason whatsoever to lie. Whats the point!?

It seems to only occur when your player is running from halfway and pretty much runs straight to the goal, the defenders hang back and give you way too much room. Defence on other areas of the field seems solid enough.


"stop lying" ffs give me a break 8|

I was wondering if something was wrong with my machine, the worldclass level is just ridiculous, its like amateur in other fifa games

you should stay out of the thread if you dont like to topic samueljuarezf, Its a reasonable thing to discuss, maybe some gameplay patchers will take this into consideration
