Now, I played two games with fidels mod, now here is my first feedback (more will come)

I see these problems in fifa 15s gameplay:

- too fast
- only one direction football
- too less long balls from the defense
- too less passes
- opponent players running over the sideline over the complete field into the box and scores (this happens sooo often)
- opponent players shooting the ball too often just away.
- my own team has almost no cpu defense.

What I really want to see is that players passing the ball back when they stand all alone in my side. And build up the game new. I NEVER saw a player passing the ball back to the goalkeeper.

What the demo mod by fidel fixed so far:

- more passes
- not sooo fast anymore

I don't know if the rest is even doable from the cl.ini. But it would be so cool to see long balls, players passing the ball back (also to the goalie) and my cpu defense acting individually.

I have to add: playing on legendary with lower CPU speed and accel sliders clearly improves one aspect of the game play. It allows the user to get into position and place more pressure on CPU ball carriers. This forces the CPU to stop its constant forward movement, and pass the ball back and start the attack again. This is something it doesn't do a lot of on default, and makes for slower play buildup. Also, slower CPU players means more CPU passes are missed -- the CPU receiver can't get to the pass on time. It helps lower the high CPU pass %.

I agree on the changing gameplay part. On Pro, I am able to stay with the cpu and have noticed them passing back or sideways due to having no good forward options available. On the higher levels, I have a lot harder time doing this, so hopefully these tweaks help. :)

I forget to add the mind reading cpu. That's really not fair -.-

And I see players shooting the ball away off the field instead of passing back which would have been possible. Please try to fix that game fidel :X

Bangus I tried to for find where I said I lowered the speed but could not. In my amendment I mentioned I changed the pass speed. Regardless I changed it from 40 to 45.

Guys keep in mind our views will differ on the testing because we all have different ideals on what is a great gameplay. I usually just pm Fidel, I only posted my findings on here based on his request. We're giving Fidel a baseline and he will disseminate what he needs.

I will again test the db and db + AI tonight, to see if my views change.

Just to show you: this is on legendary, 8 min halfs. And it's the first game I've won against the CPU, couldn't beat them on default pro. As you can see, an increase in CPU fouls and cards (Napoli) plus lower CPU pass % as well. Double those totals over 15 minute halfs and you're looking at 12-16 shots per team, 8 CPU fouls and 4 yellows. Close to perfect for a FIFA game.

I'm not saying your feedback is unwelcome. I'm saying the default GP pass speed is 40. You said Fidel's gameplay suffered because pass speed was too slow and CPU players were intercepting balls. But then you said you lowered pass speed from 45 to 40, and the game play improved. So I'm asking: Why was it on 45 in the first place? Fidel set it at 40. Your feedback doesn't make sense to me, I don't understand it.

Whatever floats your boat! ;-) I was replying to Maseren because he said 45 was too slow so he set it to 40, after which the game play was much better...? But it already is set at 40 in Fidel's mod, plus how can it be too slow on 45 but better on 40?

To clarify, and i'll change the post. Original speed by EA is 50, Fidel set it to 40. With 40 pass speed, it felt that too many intercepts where happening for me. So I set it to 45 and that felt much better. I will continue to tweak it.

there's one thing i cant understand from Fidel

how can he play with 40 speed pass and sprint and also on SLOW mod !!!

its like im playing slow motion

just make it normal...sprint 45 and speed pass 43

Fouls are determined by YOUR playing style and your sliders. If the CPU can't catch you, it can't foul you. Look at my screen above: CPU with 10 fouls 4 yellows and 2 reds in 2 games. And there is no issue with the CPU and long shots, the CPU takes plenty of long shots.

Bangus question, earlier you where mentioning how you DB is different that Fidel's? As in, you changed it some more? Also, are you playing on legendary. At least with that screenshot?

Do you think that fouls, and marking intensity is increasing at Legendary vs. Pro or world class? I currently play on world class, and although the PC will sometimes try to take the ball off the players, I was having major issues to get fouls called. Its really strange. The stranger thing is i remember distinctly playing a game three or four days back, with Fidel's DB only and getting yellows, and heck, i even got some red cards and a penalty. Now I can't get that. Same play style, build up play.

Yes, on legendary. I added my own edits that have always worked for me for increasing fouls. My edits also nerf the CPU's ability to move forward consistently, so the CPU ends up having to pass back and regroup and start again. That accounts for the low CPU shot totals on legendary, playing with 15 minute halfs.

I would say I had more fouls using only Fidel's db, than after I added his cl.ini, yes.

Have you shared your changes with Fidel by chance? i'm curious if he can use it in some way to adopt it to his Ai/DB.
