I'll deal with people the way I need to. This guy has contributed nothing worthwhile to this thread. All he's done for 3-4 posts now is complain about how lousy the full game is, while asking Fidel to create a GP mod that plays like the demo. He's basically spamming the thread with his demo complaints. If he doesn't like the full game and has no GP Evo 2.0 feedback to offer, he can go play the demo.

There are two types of people on this forum: those who learn how to mod and who offer something of value to this site; and those who do Carlos shit, who never spend a single moment learning to edit, and who spend their entire time requesting Fidel or regularcat or someone else to do this or that for them. I direct my sarcastic comments at those butt-lazy posters because they deserve it.

Im not spamming the thread like you said Bangus and besides I am not a butt-lazy posters, I love how fidel changes the way of playing fifa, I don't want to go into discussion with you, I just said that the final game is a quite different to the demo version.. and other thing .. if I had the knowledge like fidel I will contribute to the community site.

Fine, no problem. But your comment about the demo is plain silly. I've played both and there is no difference between them. And speed and movement issues in the full game I have easily fixed with a few edits. All people have to do is take the time to learn to edit. Fidel offered us a fantastic cl.ini mod as a base to start with. Now go edit your db so that the game plays exactly the way you want it to. These complaints about the demo supposedly being so much better are just excuses. Fix it yourself.

Hello Fidel and hello guys. I'm not a person who is posting on this forum a lot but with all respect to you bangus but you should chill a little bit and let peoples say whatever they think about the game. You are not Fidel and it is not your thread so please stop trying to be a boss here because you aren't. Everyone have a law to give an opinion about everything but this thread have only one boss who can decide about everything and that's not you that's Fidel so please go away man and let us live and talk with Fidel about game and some potentially chances for fixing some staff in the game.

To Fidel - Fidel I played a lot in demo with your probably gameplay evo 2.0 and I think the same...that demo with your evo 2.0 felt somehow more soft in player movement more fluid if you know what I mean. I think ball physic was a little bit better as well. Just feeling of the game when you move with the ball was more fluid maybe a little bit heavier as well with better animation transition even simple pass was very very exciting because the feeling of players and ball was so great.

Full game I think is better in other aspects like for example ai...of course game is great now with your newest ini but still this heavy soft and fluid feeling from the demo is missing...it's very good it's fluid and more fluid than full game but not than demo. Also Fidel I saw that game plays different on different stadium...there some games are more heavy and fluid and some of them on different stadiums are faster without that good feeling of the players..did you saw that as well?

I would like to thank you as well for your all hard work because this game is so so much better with your mods than vanilla one. So many things which you changed thats unbelievable and they overall made this game better than demo but if you have an opportunity and if you know how made this game even more fluid and with great movement feeling of your players and make same heavy fluid soft gameplay on every stadium that would be AMAZING. This game have big BIG potential...

You know what? You're not doing Fidel any favor with such videos man. I can hardly see any difference from vanilla game...

I can have similar speed editing sliders and AI is eerie similar to what it is my end on default sliders.

It's not a dig towards you in any way as I know you want to help, but ask yourself this:

Do you think that video is enouraging anyone to try Fidel's patch? In my opinion: Not in the slightest.

EDIT:

At least, try to encourage people WHY they should download it and try it FROM YOUR experience. Can't judge gameplay from video.

i have done some extensive testing and trying of version 2.0.i treid diffrent slider combinations.i dont really know what is possible to change but here are some observations i made that are still diffrent from real game(i know,that its not reality but we are trying to make a more realistic game.i mean fidel is,im just playing and writing).


the CPU should try to play safer.not enough passes to defenders and from strikers back to midfielders.(although more than in vanilla) and nearly no passes to goaolkeeper.more ballpossesion oriented game by cpu.the formation lines should be closer together with players trying to move to the ball more and not just waiting for it to receive a pass.they even often just watch when ball is close to them and do not pursue the ball enough.
in real game players dont just sprint or stand they move slightly to form better passing angles or shorten distance to the passer.
if you could get the players to reorganize quicker after loss of ball that would change the dynamic of game.
on the other hand when the CPU is defending they are too passive or flat out aggressive going for the ball.they should pressure you more and more tightly.the cpu offense should pressure defenders more and in midfield the game should be tighter but more of making it more difficult for you to find pass and not just trying to steal the ball.(in skill game advanced passing,when you play 5 vs 2 the defenders are quite aggressive and regroup.it is not perfect but maybe would be a start)
all formation should move TO the ball more coordinated and be able to rebuild formation again.
it would help if the game had more free balls that you have to fight for,unexpected bounces of ball,misread trajectory of the ball so you have to adjust but cpu aswell sometimes where they make mistake.
more high passes and high bounces so you have to fight with headers,not just long high passes but shortet but high passes or bounces.
the most ridiculous animation in fifa is when cpu is with back to ball and runs backwards to defend but is able to magically stop the high and fast pass with his fott,instead they should go for header or chest.
in 2.0 many fouls are still not whistled.shielding the ball with the back and body should be more prominent with the cpu.
i would do something about shots,more flat and hard shots that are difficult for keepers,finesse shots are sometimes to fast on default settings compared to hard shots.
passes could have a bit more power and less skilled players should make more mistakes stoping and controling difficult passes.even the best do this so they go for safe option of letting ball bounce out or past them or take other methods.
all in all movement should be heavier but not at cost of players being passive.maybe a bit more early crosses adn chipped ball from diffrent angles from cpu,less thru balls and more shots from out of box.

just some observations.will post new ones or better ones in the next days.thank you again for doing this changes.game is way better now.

Fidel, sometimes your patch makes me want to punch the monitor. Playing on world class, it's a nice challenge, but sometimes the CPU is too perfect. I have never seen the CPU miss a standing tackle. Yes sometimes they foul me with slide tackles, but the standing tackle is an insta-cast spell with zero cooldown and cannot be interrupted. It is the most OP move in the game. So here's some questions/suggestions:

1./ Can you make the CPU miss the standing tackle and take you out instead?

2./ I have never seen the CPU lose the ball when they go on one of those mazy runs. The close control is insane. I realize once you get the db you can edit player attributes, but if there is some setting that makes the CPU kick the ball too far ahead that'd be great. Because I've never seen that. No matter if I'm playing against Messi from Barca or Billy Sharp from Leeds, their close control is perfect. I notice the CPU doesn't even kick the ball ahead and chase after it anymore! In FIFA 14 they used to do this, and you had a chance to outrun them.

3./ Needs way more long shots but I remember you said it would be covered in db edits, so thats good. Just wanted to remind you though.

4./ Sometimes I feel blatant fouls aren't being called against me , especially a blatant shirt pull inside the penalty box. If this is intentional, then fine, because it does happen in real life as the ref misses things, but does it happen in my favor as well? Would like to hear confirmation on this.

5./ I have never seen the CPU get caught offside...
