What to do if it is too late for that already? I didnt made a backup on 1.3...
You could try deleting the data patch files in the FIFA 15 folder and then regenerate.

I paid 70 bucks for FIFA 15, I'm gonna do what's needed to make this sucker play a decent game of football.

Actually very happy with the game play now, best FIFA experience ever for me... even if my PC can only handle it on min graphic settings.
Fair point, do what ever's necessary to get your moneys worth.

Fidel I congratulate you as a good Italian 'cause your last gameplay has made a big step forward in terms of realism and I'm sure still be able to surprise us ... ;-)

Guys last time I play fifa with Fidel patch 3.0 but on 1.4 version of EA game and need to say that somehow 1.4 is good...very good..
Game with 1.4 EA version has less chheating and it is easier to defend when playing one on one with cpu. Pace of the game fells slower also.

Fidel What do you think about that? Maybe it is better to work on it with a 1.4 version of the game as a base?

I think EA done a good job with 1.4 - game is more like a simulation on this version.

The latest cl.ini file is very good. There's actually plenty of fouls. The cpu fouled me 7 times in a 9 min halves game on world class. Great job man.

Hi Fidel. I have been trying your full gameplay combo (ini + db + slider with very slight modification for my taste). Using your db + slider makes the gameplay much better than just the ini, but it still hasn't reached the level of your last FIFA 14 gameplay. Here is my view of some aspects.
_ Foul system is ok-ish, not amazing. I have seen more fouls with the low balance in your db, but what's bugging me is they are happening very close to the box, even often inside the box, while in real life players try to commit foul as far from the box as possible. This is very unlike your last FIFA 14 combo, where I even got CPU fouls from my own side of the field.
_ AI perfect clearance is still there. I haven't opened up the ini so I may try to tweak that, but I wonder if you considered that in your edited ini.
_ Your slider has decreased CPU ping pong in general, but they still ping pong A LOT in front of my box. And I see for variety in CPU attacking like FIFA 14: no long balls, no long shots, no crosses. Only the BS of ping pong + first touch shot; what makes it less ridiculous is only the increased shot error from slider.
_ Dribbling system is what I like the most; it has reached the level of your FIFA 14 gameplay and maybe even better.

Also, not really related to Fidel's work, but does anyone have any idea of how to reduce CPU blocking shots in FIFA 15? The blocks are really insane; I scored like once with long shot in a whole week of playing, and 95% of long shots are blocked by defenders.

I am experiencing something weird.. I've been using the 3.0 cl.ini for about 10 games or so along with MWM 4.0 Matrix db and the gameplay is great. I find the variety in CPU attacks to be better, they have scored a couple of absolutely great goals, long range and crosses. Overall much better than vanilla. But for some odd reason the number of fouls committed by the CPU AI has gone drastically down, like to FIFA14 vanilla levels. One of the things I liked about FIFA15's gameplay was actually getting fouled and winning penalties. I see most people here have not experienced this and are getting plenty of fouls. Last three games I have had between 0-2 fouls per game. Any ideas?

Hi all, new ti Fifa15 and mods

I used the Cl.ini only as well as moddingway mod.

I am experiencing something annoying where the CPU seems to do a lot of running with the ball and less passing.

9 times out of 10 they will run down the wing and then diagonally into my box, shoot and score...I'm new to FIFA and awful at it, but it's a little frustrating that, that is all they do each game.

Any idea if it's the CL.ini or the Sliders that is affecting this and what can I adjust to ammend ?

Did you set fidels sliders setting? I use cl 2.6 alone with fidels sliders and the ai attacks are mostly based on passing (killerthrough balls sometimes). They also run the wing but not 9 times of 10. Maybe give a try to that version of the cl file.

I'm using GP Evo 3.0 with COMBO 1.0 and DB Matrix 4.0.
When playing Career Mode, after the first match every players of the team get his overall (and values) decreased. Is there a way to fix this or am I doing something wrong?

I downgraded to 2.8 and it seems a bit better, is 2.6 better than that then ?

I am using the sliders too, 2.8 seems better a lot more running around with the ball than i'd expect though. I can end up chasing the player all over the pitch.

I am also using 1.4 of FIFA not 1.3 as I only got the game recently. after reading the forums again it seems 1.3 is the better choice, although I can't downgrade.

To my taste the 2.6 seems the best choice. Just try it and see for yourself. Cpu is sometimes very aggressive, giving me good free kick or penalties (like 3-4 massive fouls per game), from time to time also red cards for him. Also cpu attacks are fairly balanced, not only wing runs. One point is you have to block his wing runs attempts with double pressing then cpu will search for a pass opportunity to a team mate.

I'm also using 1.4 EA update, looks more easy to defend but cpu overpowerd momentum occurs still often imo.

I might give that a go then, thanks....When you say double press I take it you mean the contain (A = Xbox X=ps4) button ?

Yeah put the player under pressure with a team mate and close the free space for run with your player or try to choose defensive mentality and close space for the runs with your wing back (choosing "stay behind on attacks" in the individual tactical options of the player, always overlap is a bit risky imo but you might loose offensive support from the wing defender).

I use always overlap, so cpu has plenty of space for runs. Only solution in that case is to make the central defender come out of position to stop the winger with him. Very risky though, central defense will be underpopulated ;). And Of course use wing backs with good values in interception, stand tackle, acceleration and speed.

OK all this is easy to say but harder to apply in game ;-) but its the most efficient way i found to try to counter the pace whores without a foul . anyway it seems to happen less with fidels gameplays. CPU has really nice moves sometimes, through balls, smart long passes, long shots... in the stands (i like that, makes the AI more human hehehe).

Thanks for the advice, I'm still on 2.8 but used the 'double tap' and the support from defender 2 and it seems to contain them from coming down the wing. I just need to work out how to score now haha

For those who find it too easy, Fidel suggested to tweak this:

"To everyone like my private ADV GP EVO 2.3 (or previous versions) and playing the 2.4 you can see a too low CPUAI difficulty skill:
go here and edit like you want or restore to default gameplay value:
ContextEffectPlayerPerception=0.5 //gp evo 2.4
ContextEffectPlayerPerception=0.9 //gp evo 2.3
//ContextEffectPlayerPerception=default gameplay value //gp evo 2.2
Values works both for CPUAI players and non human controlled players.
To disable the ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY:
[ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY]
ENABLED=0
Anyway I suggest to use my settings because the adaptive difficulty is a really good addon by EA DEAV Team.
In fact I've tweaked only the rule 1 and connected param output 1 (during increase difficulty mode).
and soon I'll publish the whole setup for the adaptive difficulty on increasing and decreasing modes.
The ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY is based on a quick gameplay match statistic, then the FIFA 15 engine provide to adapt the CPUAI to you gameplay style."

I found it too easy too at the ContextEffectPlayerPerception= 0.5 value so i restored the default gameplay value, was too hard. In my case 0.7 plus AI marking slider at 75 was the best compromise for a good AI defense.
Are these values still valid? I wish to make the game more difficult..
