While doing Classic Ireland to my mod I noticed something.
Ireland on 2002 World Cup played 4 matches, 3 with their home green kit.
But only away kit in your mod have custom kit numbers

In comparison to

I know that there indeed was the same home kit with the other kit number font

But I assume that kits are for the World Cup. Maybe they're not. If not, you can just ignore this.

I have no idea. The 2002 and 2006 World Cup was not done by me. I only restructured the database when I returned after about 1 year and a little more of absence. Everything concerning that world is unknown to me.

It depends on how you look.
Or you can look at it like a movie from the beginning of the 20th century that you are digitizing.
You record history and the proof that these people existed and lived their lives.

You think that many of the players I created died over 100 years ago during the WWI. Not from old age, but massacred in war when they were 20 or 25 years old.

guys please forgive me for posting here, but talking about classic stuff
what is the order to assign specific crowds.
I had problem using the specific version of wembley for euro 2020 in the classic patch
so I will use the crowds of the specific version of gonzaga and I nedd your help

Hey there.
As far as I know specific crowds are not possible, but often times stadium makers use the same 3D model which might still work.
If I remember correctly, that's what I did with Spartak Stadium (there are 2 separate versions by Gonzaga - FC Spartak and WC2018) - I used generic FC Spartak as default but assigned "specificstadium" WC2018 files while still using generic version's crowds and glares for both.
Maybe this will work in your case.

So I could also delete them without affecting basic graphics? Wipe, Adboards for example? I have to edit about 3000 files one at a time and that scares me a lot. Could I cancel it entirely?

In case you're still wondering, there was a BAT file by Scouser which lets you set a command and insert new lines into thousands of those text files within seconds.
Basically you create a "command" test file where you tell the tool what to place where, e.g.:
setTeamYear(1998213,19941)
setTeamYear(1998214,19941)
setTeamYear(1998215,19941)
setTeamYear(1998216,19941)
Then run the BAT and it generates those files automatically pr inserts the needed strings.
That's how I generated hundreds or thousands of individual team_xxxx files with SetTeamYear for each in Sputnik.
I'll send the BAT to you if it's not readily available somewhere.

Also, can anyone please comment if Euro 2020 (2021) is planned for official release anytime soon? (I tried searching posts over the last 3 months I've missed but didn't find any updates).
I know it's not classic nor priority etc etc, just asking cause it's the tradition now, almost a year has passed.

I admit that I am not at all interested in Euro 2020. But we will probably add it in 2024 (as we have always done for recent tournaments. 2-3 years after the tournament took place). We age it and give the right emphasis, not immediately inserting in the official patch, the work that Valambrosio did for the addon.

Thank you. I have already fixed everything about 10 days ago. I only have the team_XXXX files to be redone for the single season teams. But from now to December, slowly, I should do it. they are 1600 I think

it is right that it has the right marinade. In this way the competition "ages" and Valambrosio, who created it, has the right space and recognition without being able to seem like a sort of snatch towards the addon. I know she is ready, it could take me a week to insert her. But I know it took weeks or months to put it in the Add on so I don't want to be a magpie. In two years, when the interest has waned, we will add it. So all happy. Add on di Valambrosio is not deprived of any downloads (which are nice) and we can work on other parts of the project.

The national teams have not changed league IDs. Clubs only. I just edited the string I already had with the new ID. Different case the strings of the single seasons. A league ID present in the file (example FIFA 1995-96) is now divided into 6 different League IDs (Serie A, Premier, Liga, Bundes, Ligue1 and FIFA) So that work must be done manually for each file
