is that right. there wont be round of 16 and quarters
You didn't get it.

I put "SEMI" just as an example. You should type those same lines in the same order for every stage, just replace where it says "SEMI" with "ROUND16", then with "QUARTER" and after semi replace it with "THIRDPLACE" (optional) and "FINAL".

What's important is that you use two "matchsituation" lines (stage and then REPLAY) after the num_games lines corresponding to the original leg.

Classic Patch 14 V.3.3 is OUT!
Congrats on the new release. Glad to see frequent updates!
However, some erorrs/inaccuracies are still present after numerous reports:

- CSKA Moscow's stadium should never be Ivy Lane (named Arena Khimki). Lokomotiv Stadium for 04-05, 05-06, 07-08; Luzhniki for 09-10.

- Vagner Love left CSKA for Palmeiras in August 2009, so really he should not be in CSKA 09-10 squad (discussed before).

- CSKA 07-08 played 3-5-2 offensive:

Alan Dzagoev (no. 46) was in the squad (reserve), as well as Ricardo Jesus (no. 14), Lubos Kalouda (no. 20) and Dmitri Ryzhov (no. 37).
Free kicks were taken not by Seaman (as it is now in the DВ but by Zhirkov, long kicks by Ignashevich.
Mandrykin, Gusev, Taranov, Burmistrov, Zhideyev, Gorelov, Tikhonov all left the club in January 2008, so after the winter transfer window they were gone.
Kashiyev never played a single match but I guess it doesn't hurt to have him in.
Ignashevich was no. 4 (as he always was in CSKA), no. 8 was taken by Dudu.

- Similarly, CSKA 06-07:

Ramon and Erkin arrived in January 2007, while Olic, Kochubei and Salugin left.
Pomazan, Burmistrov, Gorelov were in the squad.

- Man City 09-10: Richard Dunne left in September, should be deleted from the squad.
I also really doubt Wright-Phillips at 166 cm and 64 kg would be any good in CM role.

Maybe this looks more realistic? (Bellamy is also native LW)?

- Spartak 06-07: Alenichev retired in summer 2006, should be deleted from the squad.

- Spartak 04-05 is not using the custom font and numbers I created and posted with the CMPs in this thread.

- Chelsea 04-05 current squad:
Damien Duff (177 cm tall right winger) just never played as CM, and Tiago (183 cm CDM) never took corners (it was Lampard/Robben/Duff).

I recently read Alexey Smertin's official blog at sports.ru and there he writes about his Chelsea 2004-05 experience and Mourinho's tactics:

In our case it's the 4-1-2-1-2 and it shouldn't be Duff as CM.

- Most 2005 to 2010 teams still have black fan scarves:

- Chelsea 2008-09 jerseyfont should be curved instead of straight:
2008/09】 / Chelsea / Home / No.13 BALLACK / UCL / Player Issue | Jerseum

- There is a bit of consufion with this "small case" font in CP14: both Arsenal and Chelsea are using it, and it's actually a totally 3rd different font (called 'Champions', it wasn't used by either teams):
In 2008-09 Arsenal and Chelsea used the same font UEFA CL 2008-09
(Chelsea also during UCL final 2008)
Arsenal UCL 08-09 Vector Font | KoRnFootballFONTS

Chelsea UCL 08-09 Vector Font | KoRnFootballFONTS

But then in 2009-12 Arsenal was using another lowercase font:
Arsenal UCL 09-12 Vector Font | KoRnFootballFONTS

- Zenit 2007-08 and Rangers 2007-08 are not using their UEFA Cup final 2008 font and numbers, and Zenit still has wrong kits (TonyKroos has made correct ones), as reported here by me back in 2019.
(I have made the kitpack, will upload soon)

- Liverpool used the same kits in 2008-09 and 2009-10:

However the Respect badge on the left sleeve appeared on all teams' kits only in 2009-10:

So the 2008-09 season kits should lose the Respect badge.

- On the contrary, Respect badge should be added to Arsenal 2009-10, despite their kits being identical to 2009-09 (no badge)

- Mexico 2018: Marquez is captain but is on the bench, Guardado should be captain;

- Sweden 2018: Granqvist should be taking the penalties (as he took vs Korea and vs Mexico);

- Vincent Enyeama is taking penalties in post-match shoot-outs (pen 76, FK 72), probably should be much lower?

- Panama 2018: Baloy is captain but is on the bench, Roman Torres should be captain;

- Tunisia 2018: Mathlouthi is captain but is on the bench, Khazri should be captain.

___
I admit I didn't check every since thing right now again, but most of these reports have been made since 2017-18-19.

In case of Enyeama, no, this guy was indeed scoring set pieces in his country - Nigeria and Israel. So makes sense that his stats are like for outfield player

Russian teams, such as Norwegians, Swedes and so on that pass the first round of UCL and find themselves playing in March or April are obviously the two-season combo. Not a season. So many players who may have debuted or arrived during UCL I add them, as it should be. In this way I have the complete vision of a team that unfortunately is spread over two seasons. Other changes as captains on the bench are not mistakes, but choices that obviously I do not change. Fonts of the cups do not interest us. We would like to remove all UCL badges from jerseys.

PS if various things have already been reported in the past and have not been changed it means that I will not change them, so it is useless to repeat the same things. According to other sources, which I checked in his time, they are not mistakes but ways of making people play differently. We all know that nowadays a team also play with three different modules ...

But by UEFA standards all those teams still follow the transfer window rules, right?

I thought about this too and it seems to me that the approach that makes the most sense is take all teams as of May of that season, so e.g. Arsenal 2002-03 is as of May 2003, Barcelona 05-06 is of May 2006 (i.e. after the winter transfer window).
By the same logic, CSKA 09-10 is as of May 2010 and Zenit 07-08 is as of May 2008 (start of the Russian season but before summer transfers).

I believe this makes sense to keep track of UEFA winter transfers (e.g. Vidic signed for Man Utd from Spartak in January 2006, so he will be in Man Utd 05-06 but not in Spartak 05-06; same with Ivanovic who should be in Chelsea 07-08 but not in Lokomotiv 07-08 because he changed teams in January).

Other changes as captains on the bench are not mistakes, but choices that obviously I do not change.
But then you don't have any player for that team with captain's armband on the pitch.
While there were actual captains during those tournaments for their teams playing like Roman Torres for Panama 2018 or Guardado for Mexico 2018.
Is it really intended?

But we don't respect the UEFA rules, we are not UEFA XD I am interested in having a team built to create any kind of competition, even invented. Unfortunately, some nations play the cups on two different seasons and this leads us to have to do this type of work.

Captains are wanted for the simple reason that if you play the tournament you have ample chance of seeing that player on the pitch. So it annoys me more to see Guardado captain if Marquez (who was the real captain) is also on the pitch. You cannot think in a single game, as if it were a friendly match. During the tournament the AI does what he wants so Marquez will be 100% on the pitch and therefore with the captain's armband (as it should be)

Then last thing, fundamental that I want to point out (yet again). I don't care about this decade, I would cancel it. So it's already too much if there are the right teams and jerseys, because, if only for me, the patch would stop at 2000. I've said it many times, I don't work passionately on this decade. It was a concession I made on the project but don't expect me to give a damn.

That's why I'm trying to help and take that horrible decade details off your mind :D

Okay, last question: I still have a few CMPs almost ready, will you still be able to add the teams? (I know they'll be the first to go, if needed).
Just to not waste the work I've done.

From today we change. I will start to work only on the new environment that will lead to 4.0 The old version (the one actual up to 3.3) will collect dust for a few months until the total cancellation that I plan to carry out in June 2023.

it sounds great for me ;)
Does it mean the 4.0 will not carry more teams and players ? I ask it because I'm looking for matching Id's teams and players I'm creating. Or maybe it's better wait for the 4.0 to check ID's.
Thanks for the 3.3 and all your work, amazing again!

but I'm not interested in working on it. I do not want to modify and export the various changes to each database (which I have checked many at the time, I have not snubbed the reports) I can make changes that lead to the stability of the database but not of the detail. I don't waste time on this decade. If you notice me, except for the UCL teams, I have never added anything new I have created about this decade and I believe I will never add them. At most some Cagliari because I'm a fan. But even there I have little interest in adding them ... I have more interest in the years 1870-2000. I stopped following football practically in 2001, since 2006 I have not followed anything anymore. I didn't watch a single 2021 European Championship match, only the final. World Cup final only (probably in WC 2022 I won't watch that either) I haven't watched a UCL game since about 1999. I have not followed the summaries of the Serie A championship since 2005-06. It's a football that doesn't belong to me, it also sucks me, light years away from the football that I loved and that I have read or been told about.

No the number of teams remains unchanged (They are database limits) There will only be a better management of the leagues (faster search of the teams from the menu) and a better management of the tournaments so that they take up a space on DLC practically derisory as the number of strings .

For me I can’t go to kickoff at DB 2000
I deinstalled 14 reinstalled the clean version of 14 installed the AIO and checked all works fine
Than the same for the 3.1 and the 3.2
I went to kickoff startet a match all is fine but at 3.3 when I want to go to kickoff crash
I imported formation table also crash
I have for example no problem for the 90s
Playing tournaments at DB 2000 is possible

if there is a table there should be no problem. Yesterday tomasoni tried both the version with and without table (if you notice I added a rar with databases without table) and no problem. His son made a series of matches without problems :)

I have the same problem also for DB 2010
Even if this DB doesn’t interest me normally it should work
For me even after importing the formation table I can’t play any kickoff
Last thing that I will try is to create a new Profil
Otherwise I won’t be able to play this database

This is strange … but anyway

now in this DB is it possible to change
Tactic formations on own responsibility
I won’t ask you to help me if the game crashes because of my editing
