all the players and referees no longer have a nation ... all stateless!

Why? Honestly, for me this information is very useful. There were so many players I've never heard about or don't remember. It's always good to know where the player originates from without searching this info in the google. For example there are a lot of Italian origin surnames in Argentina. Thanks to this I Iearned a lot and got aware.

I think the same as DeWoo...

Does the player's nationality have a bad influence on the gameplay?
I had already mentioned this change since April May and everyone was thrilled. If you want to go ahead with the patch something you have to sacrifice it. Now the nations have turned into seasons (years), I showed a lot of screenshots about it, it was visible to everyone. Nationality as well as date of birth are totally useless data for the purposes of the patch. There is no career where a player grows and ages (date of birth) or can be called up to the national team (nationality) If I had not made this change there would not have been the possibility of having the entire championships, they would have remained stagnant like the current version , so no 4.0. Teams on teams always on the same leagues would have been inserted, making the search for a team from the menus saturated and boring and there would have been no DLC with tournaments, because I would have had to make them apart from a DLC for each nation if not also a DLC for each nation to every decade (starting from 50, so ... 30 extra DLC) there the discontent would have been much more, considering that many do not like to unpack RAR and would like everything in one solution. The changes I make to get the patch going, to have more content, not to ground it.

The fifa default database structure is as follows

- Nations
- Leagues
- Teams

example

- Italy
- Serie A / Serie B
- Milan (Serie A), Ternana (Serie B )

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 4.0 nations become years, seasons, precise historical period, so it becomes like this

- Years
- Leagues
- Teams

example

- 1998

- 1997-98 Serie A, 1997-98 Premier League, 1997-98 La Liga, 1997-98 Bundesliga, 1997-98 Division 1, 1997-98 FIFA (Rest of Europe, UCL teams)

- Milan 97-98 (Serie A), Manchester United 97-98 (Premier), Real Madrid 97-98 (La Liga), Bayern Munchen 97-98 (Bundesliga), Paris Saint Germain 97-98 (Division 1) Ajax (FIFA)

In this way I can better order the teams and create the related tournaments with a space on DLC identical to the one that uses FIFA default, very small.

You have the possibility of having mini FIFA ... Mini FIFA98, mini FIFA2000, and if you want a bit of ukronia too. FIFA77. FIFA86 .... FIFA1889 XD

And I think this system makes the work of Jbout and Valambrosio more easier because they add even more single teams of the different years

I would love it. I keep waiting with hope to be able to merge all 1970s-2010s dbs into one using Jbou Classic Patch Selector.

it's a very asshole job. On the one hand, however, I was able to lighten the weight of the various adobards by removing about 650-700 (I don't remember) destined for each single team. While now they are set to league and tournament. If previously a league of 18 teams had 18 specific adboards now it has 2. This multiplied by each league, including future additions, saves memory space. At the same time I can now also add referees' shirts for those seasons. Then there was the search for a range of IDs that could be used and the remaking of each language with the new IDs and tournaments. Everything takes time ... Rome was not built in a day ....

So why the CP site still doesn't have a DONATE button? Or even Patreon? You three deserve an award!

Once there was but paypal considered us as a company and not as a physical individual ... So they "blocked" our account to make checks. We had just in time to remove what little was there and to abandon it. In the future we will see. We will probably create a paypal account by putting a physical name and not classicpatchblablablablabla as the email address.

The shirt posted earlier had various color variations but in Serie A the green version was almost always used. The gray was a rare jersey, I think I have seen it a maximum of 5 times in 4 seasons. The never seen Red! I found a photo and I decided to create it anyway ... While the black I think was mostly used in Serie B ... I don't remember well. However, the green was used practically ALWAYS!

Do you plan to add Hertha (2005-06) in the future?

Or Betis 2005-06

I'm done with the "active editing" of the 2000s. It will be almost impossible for me to create something for that decade, as I said in the past few days, maybe I'll create some Cagliari just because I'm a fan. It is not a decade that interests me, including Serie A. Betis we are only missing the jerseys. Time a few weeks or months and there will be (they played the UCL)
