I can really understand that someone is interested in recent world cups,

but requesting this kind of tournaments in THIS thread and not for example in the one of jbout shows that this person didn't read the guideline of Giggi and the most common questions.

The football history is always developping, and for me, personally, it's great to be able to play with Andrade and the Uruguay squad of 1930 and at the same time, by choosing an other DB, playing with Mbappé in season 2019 / 2020 thanks to jbout

Something that could be done (by the community of course), and I believe is one of the reasons why people insist on recent teams for this patch, is the creation of an "all time" DB that includes the very best of each decade (cl champions, wc champions, euro champions, league champions, teams that made history, etc).

I understand perfectly well that this is a classic patch, but why can't the bi literally cover the entire history of football, absolutely the whole from 1908 to 2023???
Such patches have never been beaten and never will be, I deeply respect the work of patch makers and am delighted with the amount of work done, I just can’t understand why make some restrictions that relate to the modern history of football, it’s cool when you can play any team, any football year in one patch, right???

Lol, says that he understands that this is the CLASSIC patch... & then goes on to complain about how he doesn't understand why non-classic teams aren't included.

I really respect patchmakers and the work done, I am immensely grateful to them for this, I just think that including the whole History of football would be cool

You're not entirely wrong. In fact, I'm seriously considering eliminating them. I've basically stopped messing with that database and updating the various faces. I could delete those competitions from the database...
