I was investigating the missing/wrong callnames.
for example Răzvan Raț (Romania 2008,2016) - ID: 143674 which in game i hear him called "Vasquez"
he has lastnameid 4020 "Rat" (which i think its wrong, i'll show later why):

then i went in the playernames table and i found his commentary id: 928153

then i went to commentarynames table and i found this commentary id linked to the commentary string "Vasquez":

while the commentary string should be, obviously, ”Raț” with commentary id: 926644:

but i didn't find this commentary id assigned in playernames table.
i don't know what caused this, looks like a bit of mess in these tables.
I noticed many player names aren't written with diacritics, don't know why this decision
but it might got messed up when this change has been made.
@ACICOG Any chance we can fix them? maybe everyone can report the players with wrong/missing callnames and make a list to fix.

alright i copied the right commentary id from commentarynames table to playernames table but for some reason his callname doesn't work. but i don't hear "Vasquez" anymore
but i fixed some Romanian players and worked perfectly
some players have callname directly assigned to player ID, like Chivu, so he doesn't need such things
if you didn't add any new player since last release you can use this table i attached
i'm wondering if we can add more callnames, i think RobbieD_PL added more callnames to his mod

update: deleting eng_us.bh and eng_us.big from game folder enables another commentator and all the previous callnames i said didnt work now work :33vff3o:

Guys do I understand correctly that in F16 you also only have scoreboards where the away logo is fully mirrored, like in F14?
So if Ireland plays away, it will become Ivory Coast?

I'm not a scoreboard maker by any means but here's an idea:
Maybe we can hex-edit the scoreboard to use the home team's logo from the "crest" folder and the away team's logo from "crest50x50" folder? (or "light" and "dark" folders)?

Crest folder would contain normal country flags and crest50x50 - properly pre-mirrored ones.

Roughly speaking, so that N Korea vs N Korea would look like this

i was updating those ugly minikits for EURO 2016 teams and then i tought what if i add the kits from fifa 17-18 to have better quality and same "artstyle"
here are some before and after photos:

don't mind the different shorts colors or double sleeve badge (because i added kitoverlay)
just check the kits quality
Unfortunately for some teams we need to keep what we have: Albania, Switzerland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Croatia and Hungary, because they weren't present in fifa, but i still updated the minikits for them
