Duong bro, since you asked for feedbacks, I'd like to inform things I noticed in case it helps you improve your patch:

1) 'Sometimes' after beginning the match, the film noir effect in Silverscreen and Vibrance mode started after the first video or goalkick, before that the film noir effect wasn't there.

2) When playing, I noticed at night time Camp Nou though, when ball passes to other half of the field the lighting changes gets brighter or darker.

There's an improvement I have seen, okay. But grass doesn't exist, do I have to anything additional?

And does this patch picks the match up? It's much more faster than the old.

it might be because your are running the game on low settings, if so try putting on dept of field and shader all the way up. try this and see if it works.

I installed this patch on my pc which has vista home premium & it crashes the game. I did an uninstall & reinstall, still crashed the game. I did a system restore to two days prior, reinstalled the game, still crashed. I unstinstalled again, checked all fifa 10 files were removed from directory & reinstalled and what do u know, it still crashed. I now have a broken fifa. Do u know how to get it to work again? please help... cheers Actually I did do a backup, i copied it back in to re-replace the overwritten modded file. This was actually the first thing i did. But no it didnt work. Could it be to do with something changed in my registry (even though i did a system restore)


p.s. i also tried the setting where it restores the original ea graphics but this did not work

i have the same problum when game starts to load a match it stops working and gose to desktop ive done all what above quote said , ive got the direct download version of the game hope some one can help me fix the game

Thanks for all the feedback, people. I'm trying to do something about the lighting shift at night, as well as find out a way to apply the film noir effect to pre-match sequences.

For now, let's get on with a BRAND NEW feature: Depth of field lighting reconfiguration! Basically, I've updated depth of field settings so that during all cinematic scenes (goal scoring, missing the target, freekick, throw-in, pre-match, post-match, etc. etc.) and other scenes that apply depth of field (replay, instant replay), the lighting becomes more life-like: colors of far-away objects (including crowds) become lighter and blurrier. No more black crowds, people!

dude, you've already seen and commented on the night turf and nobody's been asking for an overcast turf update so I'm leaving it untouched.

Awesome work Duong, great respect. But i have still 2 questions, why make you the DOF only for Vibrant and Silverscreen modes? I think many use also the neutral mode, or is it in neutral mode not possible?

And now my second question, is in your update already inkluded the gamma fix? You know already the swap problem with bright to dark.

hey people, i downloaded and installed this patch, then it stuffed up my game. it would crash everytime i started a match on the loading screen.

i uninstalled it and got rid of all my fifa 10 files then re-installed it. now it gets into the game easily. but then all the players and refs are black, it is really annoying and i can't seem to fix it. can anybody help me please?

i'll try put some pictures up of it.

Also in overcast mode in all stadiums,then there is a problem in lightning changes.

p.s.: DoF and sunny/sunset turfs are
p.s.s.: maybe,imho,overcast turf would be darker, like in the problem of lighting change(i'll post some screens)
p.s.s.: how can i save game screens? I use Stamp button but in paint it pastes black screen.

@beddy_91: this is probably some compatibility issue. Hmm try switching your detail settings to medium/high.
@Onsche & goke313: well alright, if that's preferable by the majority. I just thought that since neutral is supposed to be a version implementing minimal effects ( = minimal bugs), I should just leave it alone.

Duong bro, the Depth of Field settings that come out during goal scoring, missing the target, freekick, throw-in, pre-match, post-match etc is there a way to somehow enable it in-game real time during a match? I've been looking for a way by tweaking the sku.ini and common.ini via File Master 10 but no luck.
