Ok so i'ev just got PES6 but I'm having a huge technical problem... the disk won't read.

I've tried the disk in other computers and its fine
I've tried other DVD's (inc the FIFA07 dvd) in mine and they are fine.

So does anyone have any idea why this specific disk / drive combo is causing me problems?

When I put it in it kinda makes a clicking sound then fails to spin up.

According to sstem properties the drive is a
"LITE-ON DVDRW SHM-165P6S SCSI CDRom Device" and according to my computer is a DVD-RAM drive.

The computer is brand new and top spec.

Thank you.

I have exactly the same dvd as you and exactly the same problem, I've now got to buy another dvd just to play the fing game, so although it's not much consolation to you i'm kinda glad its not just me.

I may try it in a friends comp first. If it works then would I be able to get the no dvd patch working if I burned game onto disc on different comp and then brought it home and loaded it up? Would I be able to play my game then? (sigh)

If you burn a disc from a faulty disc then you will have a faulty burned disc, because the fault is on that disc.. I suggest you try it on your friends computer..if it works then burn a disc and it should be fine.

There should be instructions in the DVD burning programme your freind has to show you how to burn a disc. If the PES6 disc does not work on your friends comp then it is faulty and you should get a replacement from the shop or online store you bought it from. :D
