EA To Release Official FIFA 2002 Patch

EA Sports have let me know they'll be releasing a patch for FIFA 2002 soon.

They say it will include some formation fixes and some fixes for online multiplayer mode.

Perhaps if we kick and shout enough they'll include some more changes in the patch. So post here what you think should be included. Remember, this is JUST a patch so nothing big can be changed, it can only be small things that are easily fixed.

The shooting and ball physics. Imo the most imp changes that should be incliuded in the patch. The default sucks.

we want custom tournament with more than 2 human players..
also fix the mess in the lineup...
also the mess in the lineup with modem play
also to give the option to make offside trap and pressure
to bring back the ingame tactics...the igm
the gameplay is fine...small bugs but it is ok..the major things are the ones i said before..
can they do this??

man, did you asked if there are any cheats???
or the World Cup so we can play with it?
also some other fiels that came with the CD (like the boca juniors badge etc...).

And also they should include a fix for the rosters, because you can only modify so many teams, and then nothing, also a fix that when you modify a team the faces don't get locked up, and the last thing they should fix or make a way to play more than one team on a season or on a custom cup as we played before in Fifa 2001.

on the ini.big change this:

We definatelly have to be able to change the tacticts inside a game... offside trap and pressure have to be there too...

yeahhh, the problem with two gamepadsss!!!

I have 2 gamepads.......one gameport and one usb, and when i try to set them in the options menu, when i press one button in one gamepad, it changes config. in both........really nasty......i like to play with (or against) friends....

another thing that i would like to see is a far zoom........i like to play seeing ALL the field...or at least, 75%......to make LONG PASSES....

Unchangeable Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad Pro controls!!!

If you change the controls in options, the controls will still be the default in-game.

I say, they should include everything that they are doing right now, cause that's great , but they should also include an ini.big file with updated ball pyshics and they should also make the shooting slower, harder, more realistic!

-INGAME TACTICS
-OFFSIDE TRAP and DEFENSE PRESSURE
(which seemed to be in ini.big, but cant be enabled!)


-fix the bug of loosin playernames in commentary after changing haircuts or somethingelse


-fix the bug of limited payerediting ! (FIFA02 is too small !)


-fix the collision-bug of too big goal-posts (I hit them 100 times a match )


-fix castanet_unexpected_EOF-error when tryin to make the online-update (on DSL-Cable,even when my Firewall is disabled!)


-ever heard about passive offside ?


-there is still NO audio-difference between home and away-team as you promised (and advertised) EA ! just assign half of the 2gogen**.str-files for home and other half to away-team-goals


-please upload all language commentaries so I can choose the one I like (I know these are big files)

FIX MISTAKES!!!

Just fix the crappy bug in programming, like the creation center bug where players disappear from created teams, the messed up formations when wingers are employed, & also the goal kick throw in bugs!!! Once, the computer should get a throw-in when i kicked the ball out of play, but the camera view moved all thw way down the pitch & i got a goal kick!!!! Also, make the AI make mistake in passing,as there is no way we could imitate such immaculate passing done by the AI & it therefore seems unfair!!
