Earthquake (M7.9) in Chile

it's recent I have no further info about this earthquake, how bad is that, any voices from latin america??

I'll tell you some real weird thing now..

I live in Turkey and some of you should know about M7.4 in 1999, which cost more than 20000 deaths in Turkey.. I experienced that earthquake, so I do follow Earthquake news and it's somewhat striking fear to my heart.. I check my national news portal every night before I go to bed and tonight I had a strange fear that I will have an earthquake news.. tonight I checked desperately and when I saw the news I blamed myself like I wanted it to happen.. very strange feeling, I think it started after december 26, 2004, the big Asia quake which cost 300.000 lives with tsunami.. I got that news similar to a way that I got this chile quake..


by the way, it's 05.00 AM here so it makes 03.00 AM GMT, latest news.... Earthquake hit the northern, a mountainous region far from big cities, at least 1 confirmed deaths currently and many wounded.. quake hit nearly at 07.00 PM in Chile, so it's dark and I think the season is winter at chile so god help the people evacuated their houses..

It was 5.4, but it was pretty scary 'cause it woke me up...

WTF, we just had a tsunami warning for our county. There was a 7.4 earthquake in Eureka, California...and I guess it's coming all the way down here.
