Thanks mate - I use Moddingway assign feature to indivdually assign players - but when I do an update on Preds etc which lots of players use I open the boot assign txt file in moddingway and do a replace - it then changes all players that have that particular boot and updates to new one.

you mean, FIFA 16/boots/bootsassign.txt ?

Yep you do - under the menu select replace and in first box you put ,???? ?=number you want to change from and then in box below ,??? ?=number of boot you want to change them to then hit replace and you should see the list blink which means they e replaced. Then all you do is go into moddingway selector and load players and then click boot list and it will replace. Sometimes it can take a while but be patient and it will work and is quickest way to bulk replace boots
