Editing the game controller file?

Hi all, my madcatz controller won't work for all buttons. ie fifa WC won't allow me to enter button 7 and 8 for sprint and trigger run:

So, what do i have to change for sprint and trigger run
in the user/davdata.dat file (which has my joystick listed):

Ok fixed my own problem. :ewan:

I deleted the davdata file in my documets/fifa wc/data
then in the c: prog files/fif wc ...data I edited the davdata file by coping the config numbers of another controller which is similar, namely the dual action to the mad catz contents:

so now i can config all my buttons although they are numbered differently which is no big deal just as long as the button i want configs to the action i want:

thanks anyhow, I did check out the app, but sadly my madcatz controller is not on their list. :boohoo:

In fact just played a few games and it seems fine.
