Silva gets owned there... But from what I remember the next thing Ooijer did was trying to lift the ball out of the Euroborg :)

Beasley hints at PSV exit

DaMarcus Beasley admits he could move on from PSV Eindhoven.

The American has been a big hit in the Eredivisie since his move from Chicago Fire in the summer of 2004, but he claims he is not totally comfortable in Eindhoven and may look to move on.

"For some reason I don't feel as comfortable as I would like to," Beasley told Voetbal International. "I cannot explain what the cause is.

"The club are fantastic, my team-mates are always ready to help and thanks to the coach and Philip Cocu the team have got the right chemistry and are playing well.

"It's a matter of trust, I have never felt 100 percent trust here and that's what I am looking for."

Looking to the future, Beasley added: "I'm worried about what will happen with me.

"I will keep all my options open.

"My contract runs for two more years, but maybe I can make a new step.

"The World Cup is the stage where stars are born. With the last year and the current season in the back of my head, it's certainly an option that I could leave."

To me it sounds like he got cold feet he's a great player. Hopefully he doesn't go back to the states it wouldn't be a good move for his career.

Big hit? Not really. He's never been comfortable in Eindhoven, and his game reflected it. The system PSV play doesn't seem right for him either. He'd be better in a 5 man midfield.

Terrible weekend for Groningen :nape: , to get owned by Willem II is a disgrace. We are lucky to see all competitors for fifth place lose as well.

And Huntelaar was awesome again today, he really deserves a call-up for the World Cup.

Quit PSV for Corinthians? Quit CL football every year for playing crappy teams in Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia? Argh...

Gomes said he'd be interested in returning to Brazil, as he thinks it might help his bid to join the national team more regularly. But only if PSV want to sell him, he'd just as much like to stay.

Corinthians is owned by some rich guy who's a good friend of Abramovich, Gomes sees money and goes to get it. The same way how Tevez went to there...

BTW four to nil! :rockman:

Would be a step backwards in his career, maybe not money wise though... For 10m $ you can get yourself a good GK though...

Forgot to post the results for the last 2 or 3 weeks, anyway, here are this week's results:

PSV only needs a maximum of 4 points to win the championship. They will probably win it vs. Groningen (april 8/9). Guess who's going to that match (H)

Vitesse-Sparta 3-1
34' Oost (pen) 0-1
57' Janssen 1-1
65' Junker 2-1
67' De Mul 3-1

Roda JC-RBC 5-1
9' Cziommer 1-0
24' Cziommer 2-0
29' Sonko 3-0
52' Fleur 3-1
74' Cziommer 4-1
87' Rudge 5-1

Twente-Heerenveen 1-2
17' Nilsson 0-1
27' N'Kufo 1-1
36' Nilsson 1-2

NEC-FC Groningen 2-2
47' Tininho 1-0
58' Van de Laak 1-1
65' Jones 2-1
80' Buijs 2-2

Willem II-PSV 0-3
5' Aissati 0-1
45' Addo 0-2
46' Kone 0-3

Feyenoord-ADO Den Haag 0-2
37' Kolkka 0-1
67' Kolkka 0-2

Ajax-NAC Breda 1-1
2' Huntelaar 1-0
80' Mendes da Silva 1-1

RKC-AZ 0-1
35' Medunjanin 0-1

FC Utrecht-Heracles 1-0
90' Fortune 1-0

Other news: Corinthians doesnt want to pay the required amount of money to buy Gomes. Gomes says he will happily stay at PSV and there's a good possibility he will extend his contract. On the other hand, Jan Timmer, important person at PSV, wants to sell him, Westerhof, PSV's chairman doesnt....

My favourite for replacing Hiddink is Van Marwijk. IMO he will suit very good with the club and he's got qualities. Maybe he can even get van Bommel back at PSV because it's his son in law (H)
