you have to load that your local db (language files), not the main db .

local db files exist on \FIFA 13\Game\data\"loc"

open db master 12 & click on File - Open Db explore this path (loc) , then select eng_us_meta.db & eng_us.db file & open it.

then click on sourcetext coloumn & search for the shortname (for ex type MC , find it & change it as Manchester City...etc) & done.
