Joaquin is great, but I really don't see us signing someone as expensive as him.
Do we have any transfer money left?
I mean, if we are trying to get V.Bommel, and if we want Luque, plus a defender like Milito, where would we get the money for someone like Joaquin?
He's one of the best, if not the best, player in his position. Simply extraordinary. And that's why I'm not hoping for anything. He's top class, and if Madrid are after him, that means pretty much every larger club in Europe with a remote chance of purchasing is after him, too. We are not hard to outbid, at the moment.
Also, why is Cruyff reccomending him? It's not like he's some low-profile player no one knows about.

If i were a player, the most thing would be the location, and weather, england would be

Joaquin is the best option in the market for the right wing, but it's too expensive and he's going to Chelsea or Real Madrid. There's not too much money but I'm sure Laporta will try to bring a great player for the right wing. The CB is not urgent, remember that next season we'll have Edmilson (CB-DM). I reckon it will be €12m for Milito + the money from the sales of Riquelme and Saviola for a right winger. I'm not so sure about Luque, I don't think he comes this summer.
Then if we'll wear a sponsor (I hope we won't), I don't know if that would add €15m for the transfers.
Anyway it's too soon to talk about this. Today 'Sport' says that Henry is the target. Laughable. Right now it's all rumours because there isn't Liga and they have to say something.

I have to say that while we're not a "selling" club it seems at times that we have alot of difficulty getting good value for the players we want to get rid of. Riquelme is having a great season and theres a number of teams that want him, but all the news tend to point out that Riquelme wants to stay at Villarreal and not be a part of another transaction, making it more difficult for us to get more money from selling him. The one rumour from that transfer would be Gonzalo Rodriguez and while he could be a very good centre back he's still young and it could be a gamble so if im Laporta or Txiki i'm asking for Guayre and maybe even Rodriguez for Riquelme, is this so far fetched?
SWP? i xavi has praised him alot and he is a quality player, i reckon we could definitely have him put to use at the nou camp

Barcelona are interested in the nephew of Ronaldinho, ten year-old Diego Duran.
Diego is currently playing with Gremio's junior team and is the son of Diego Assis, former midfielder of Vasco Da Gama and Switzerland's Sion.
Diego Snr has so far refused Barcelona's request to move the family to Spain, which
would be a requirement if his son is to join the Spanish giants.
But Diego Jr does annually vacation in Barcelona with his Uncle, Ronaldinho, which could allow him to continue his football education in Europe.
Diego Jr was first spotted as a six year-old in Mexico by local scouts, which eventually led to the youngster signing with Gremio back in his native Brazil.
