FA Premier Football League Manager 2000 Bugs; here are two

Anybody who plays FA Premier Football League Manager 2000, I need help!!!

the bug is:
when I play for two seasons, suddenly one or two players from my roster suddenly begins to die......
I mean his condition lowers after each game and it never rises. In training, I can't even assign them to anything; it doesn't change it. It stays "rest" every time I try to change their training regimes. and the most thing that bugs me is that noone wants to nuy these players. So, everytime I try to put them in the main squad, they get tired more, but their condition never gets better. What to do? Did anyone have the same kind of problem?

Problem #2:
I clicked on settings and changed options from "none" to "fast view" . then (it was the final game of the third division playoffs. I really needed the win) I clicked next and proceeded the match. It was 1:1 when I scored the goal on the 89th minute. How happy I was! But when the game ended (I won 2:1) on the fixture list it said 2:2. I didn't even see how they scored the goal. I didn't go through, and I got fired....
it looked like computer wanted me to loose.

I had the same problem with couple of players dying in the beginning of the season where u cant change their training, which basically means they cant play
i m not sure if this is a bug, maybe its lika an unhappy player or something, i dont know. But i doesnt look like it.
As for bug #2, never heppened to me

Maybe its because of players age? maybe it means that player has to retire?

What players age?
Ndekwe from Rushden & Diamonds dies at the age 21. I cannot sell him, or whatever. When you leave the club, the player miracalously convalesces (recoveres).
Don't know what to do

Hi, RR!
Can`t help with those bugs, but can add couple more (in gameplay). I`ve posted a biig message about them in November.
They are: If I score a goal from the penalty area - some opposition player suddenly falls and it says 'foul!'. So, the only kinds of goals I scored were from 30-40 meters, or own goals (which are registered for my players).
And second - passes backwards from the empty opposition goal - I think, it`s goal , but he passes backwards . Anyone seen , or it`s our Soviet 'version'?
That made up my choice for CM3/99/00.
BTW anyone knows, where CMS 99/00 warez is?

i never watch how computer plays for my team just because however you wouldn't change tactics, computer will still miss the open goals.

cm 99/00 sucks because it is slow to simulate one day and, without editor, it is hard. also you cannot control team finances.

Form up?

You can't. It is just like a average grade for matches. If a player has form 5.00 it means that they didn't play good last matches. I don't think there is a cure.

the game is pretty good when you do not play the game itself. The game really suxxxxxx when you see the game. One time I scored a penalty on the 94th minute and the ref called a free kick against me! I didn't even see what I commited!
So it is hard to jusge the game, although it is pretty good. Also, I hate when I get fired and I should start all over again. Like I died or something. Also, sometimes they fire me for nothing. OK, just pretend:

takes over Leek from Dr. Martin's division (2nd conference) and by miracle or his training skills he rises Leek to Conference, then to 3rd division, then to 2nd division and finally to the 1st. In the 1st division, Keegan cannot do anything; ver very very low budget for wages and transfers, lack of money itself, players are very tired and skilless. He losses all games he plays with that kind of atmosphere. So, He gets fired.

Do you believe that?!?!? It happened to me in the game when I took over Dag & Red. It is like directors do not have a soccer sense: you take the freaking stupid, amateur team out of nowhere, make it look like something and you get fired!?! How stupid is that! No freaking logic!
OK, as you said, no bugs, but it is very very interesting, the game looks like my old Premier Manager 99 of Actua Sports, which I hate for get firing for nothing. EA should really make a patch!

Yeah, game has a lot of bugs, and little logic sometimes, but i dont want to talk about it, its depressing.
As for players form..... Thats what i thought in the beginning too, form colomn shows just how player performed in the last game.... but its not only that. I had players with form of 10, and they were scoring every game...... when players form dropped to 6, they started playing like **** and they couldnt do anything, didnt score for games, and so on. But players with less skills but higher form played much better!!!
And if it was just a grade for that particular game, player wouldnt perform well in the next few games, and the grade would jump from 5 for one game to 9 for another. but it doesnt!!! it slowly moves either up or down U can take a ****ty player with a high form and put him in for your star player with a low form, and your ****ty player is going to perform better.
And also i still think that by traning u can keep your players form up. I m just not sure how to do it yet. But there is a way if u train them sertain way. As of right now i think that u should train players like that..... fitness-position-fitness-techneque-fitness-position-fitnes-technique... and so on....this way i was able to get better results. But this is not the best way i bet!!!
Another question........ what type of training develops what in players?!?!?!
I test everything on my youth players... when player works on his fitness, i thought that this should increase his speed, but it doesnt, although his strength goes up rather easily. How do u increase your players shooting, passing etc.???
Oh, and i know for sure that when your training mode is technique, your players "set pieces" goes up, but control, what i was really trying to increase, stays the same. Weird.........
So what does develops what in your player???
As for budjets.......... i think that budjet increases as your income increases.... thats the only way. But it will take a long long time, and u cant take a loan out in this game to develop a stadium for example.
Right now i have 11+thousand capacity on my stadium, my ticket prices are as high as i can get them, wich is 11 for 3rd division i think(not sure), my stadium is full for every game, but i cant develop my stadium to get more fans in!!! Any ideas on how to increase your clubs income?
Oh, yeah..... another thing.... for conference, 3rd and i think even 2nd division Nikol is a good buy... hi costs like 46K with a listed skill of 44, cetral defender, but when u move him up to DM or CM, his skill is 55
Giraldo is also a good buy, young and develops ok.

For hints as how to play the game go to this URL:http://www.premierleaguemanager.com/. As far as for form, you have to rest the players whose form are decreased each time they play a match. Go to training and have them train for fitness between match. It's best to have a big squad so you can play different players to have the whole squad fit to play many matches. This is true of big clubs. One thing that bother me about the game is the Non EU players. They are cheap to buy compared to Europeans with the same skill level but after one season, I have to sell them because they always get their work permit denied. This is true for even big stars like Rivaldo. So don't bother buying foreigners. That's one thing I hate about the game and the match view thing. But other than that, I prefer it to CM 99/00 because you don't have to spend an hour playing a match and deal with every stats imaginable to football.

To have your NON EU player work permit renewed he has to play in at least of 75% of your team matches. I always have 3-4 NON EU players on my team and i have no problems renewing their work permit if they play alot

I want to know:
1. What type of traning develops what in your players?
2. How do u develop your players skills faster? This way u wont have to buy new players and will not overspend wages and thus increase your profits
3. The most important one right now for..... How to increase your teams profits?
If u get promoted it is vital to have more money or your team is always gonna suck and u wont be able to get anything done, even build your stadium, get fired, start the game over, do it for a few times, get tired of it and forget all about the game

Oh, one more thing.... I finished my first season, first place in 3rd division. Got promoted to 2nd division, already overspent players wages.

My stadium is full beyond its full capacity (11,500 capacity, i have 11700 for every game), my ticket prices are max, which is 18, but i dont make enough money!!! We ll see what happens

Also, a good buy is Borysenko.
When you begin playing with a team from 2nd or 1st division, go to Transfer list, Non EU players and find a player named Borysenko from CSKA Kyiv. If you buy him for 500,000 pounds, his skill will rise from 56 or 58 to 61. Also, a guy from Wrexham, named Jones has the skill of 28. If you put him as a CF, his skill will rise to 45, or something. In a year, his skill is gonna be 50, or something.
You cannot change a player's skills faster because a player's skill rises or decreases when he gets older. It rises when he gets older to the age of 29. Then, it decreases.
Not to overspend players' wages, you need to go to Business, overview. Then, subtract projected from remaining in Players' wages. Then, divide what's left by number of weeks left in your season. The number you'll get is gonna be how much money you have for players' wages.
Oh, how do you increase players' shooting or passing? I don't know, but I can guess that for example a player is an attacker, you make him train like "attacking". I thing it increases his shooting, finishing, speed, etc. If a player is a defender, you make him train as a "defensive". It increases his Tackling, etc. I dunno, but I think that what it means.
Actually, you can use cheats for getting more money. But the more money cheat increases your transfer, development budgets, but it doesn't increase your players' wages. There is no point in that!
So, I have a question too:
Have you ever played a friendly game? I didn't. And to CM fans: can you propose friendlies to other teams? If yes, then how?

Thanx for the info about the Non EU players. To answer your questions:
1 and 2 go hand in hand. I don't know what type of training increase what skills. I experience with the different types of training base on the players position (I.e. a midfielder- I would train fitness, technique, midfield. Also if he is an attacking midfield than attack). But you also have to have coaches for these type of training to work. So you have to hire technique, fitness, attack, goalkeeping, defensive,and midfielder coaches. But then you need to have a training facilities and a youth academie inorder to be able to hire these coaches.
2. All of these couldn't be achieved without a big budget. All I can tell you is that I hex edit to get a big budget in order to get the squad I wanted. Also use the cheats that EA provided at the www.premierleaguemanager.com under masterclass. Hope that help.

I wanna do it the right way. But the main thing for me is money. I got to get more money for my team, or i wont be able to develop players, stadium, etc.
Is there a way to do it without using cheats?
Btw, i strted playing in the second division.... tough, very tough
