I'm back to FIFA modding!

My mods will not be free but you won't see my works on patreon or buymeacoffee, as many modders do nowadays. What I need from you are your knowledge of modding, suggestion of base models and good head portraits.

Grealish is my first work for FIFA 22 as a warm-up to see whether my touches are still there.

I have updated face texture, head model and hair model but the vertex color of the hair has been messed up. Someone please tell me how to fix it?

great face! try to delete vcol in blender then re add it by pressing "+"

I deleted both VColor1 and VColor2 and re-added them for hair and haircap. It doesn't work for me. The hair is still all black in night game.

try to remove them all and re add only 1 for hair. no need for haircap i think

Do I have to remove "BlendWeights" and "Regionlds" too?
Do I have to rename it as "VColor1" after adding it?

If you want to enjoy my facemods for free, you will have to play your part like suggesting base head and hair models. As we don’t have faces archive (I saw a modder in Twitter have done it but it’s not free…) like we had for FIFA 16, it would be very time consuming to look for base textures and models and I don’t have too much spare time for modding. I might stop creating facemods if no one is supporting and helping me.

I miss the old times. We had flourishing modding community for FIFA 16 with quality modders and the ModdingWay mod. We basically shared all knowledge and resources to create mods for free. It is sad to see the majority of modders making money rather than making the game better together.

We can at least try and make it great again, there are a lot of modders who are willing to share for free and that's what i was aiming for.

It is sad to see the majority of modders making money rather than making the game better together.

They will not last long if we work as a team.
After all Fifa is a team game, free modders are rising from ashes and dust to defeat the "big corporate teams".

If we contibute and make mods without/with minor bugs, people will eventually choose to use free mods rather than paid ones.

I started this thread because few people in recent weeks decided to stop working/sharing their own stuff, and we don't want people to go away and surrender, comunitty will die if we decide not to fight against.

I understand very well what you mean, and exactly what I think.even today the credit. no longer respect, have taken your job, cut out slight modification and keep the credit.or earn money with.
ask for help from buddy person, no help even no answer,completely ignore.where is the spirit of rinaldo who has always shared with us without asking for anything

And if it wasn't for Rinaldo's (and other great editing) Tools, nobody can make mods, so "paid modders" should pay those people who are making things possible for all of us.

That's the main reason why i made FREE MODS Collaboration thread, so we can have almost the same and even better working mods than "paid modders" are making, because we will try and make them TO WORK and be PLAYABLE, not just to release half bugged/half stolen mods like they do just for money.

I beleive they are minority, we should help each other and protect each others work from those pests.

"They $" can contribute also and get help too, BUT only FOR FREE and ONLY if they want to make and share Mods free for others (it should at least be a donate option if someone wants to pay them or anybody else willing to earn some money rewards).

Good luck to your project. I don’t see many active modders in this forum anymore. @christophe83460 has been one of the most long-standing modder since I started to play mods.

You are right, but some are active behind the closed doors still making mods for personal use and share if they feel the need to. Good thing is most of (active) modders didn't stop modding at least some minor things for themself.
They can be encouraged to share if community can give something back, like before. And a lot of them are helping others, they are not so much in a shadow like it seems.

But i am also hoping some new people will start learning about modding or anything related (like we all did, thanks EA ), that's why I will make simple Tutorials on creating New Leagues (teams, players, compdata files) and also texture making Tutorials (there are already a lot of good ones out there, so i maybe pass that).
I'm not some optimistic person in life, but i know at least two people will start making something and, eventually, who knows where will they be (maybe making mods for money, haha ironic).
But at least it will be everything "on a plate" like it should be, free.

He has very short hair now, not curly.
