Hi I'm trying to create Vietto, but when I try to import the .obj to Blender, there's something wrong with the shadows. Any tip? I don't know if that's because I did it wrong in Face Gen or what. If you help me I promise you lots of facepacks :bouncy:

Noob Question

When I click on Auto Mesh Paint ,I get normalmap added in the vertex colors box ? and i noticed in the video tutorial that it doesnt happen, what could I have done wrong?

Annoying Face Vertex (really bad)

Hi! So I've seen all the tutorials and I've learned a lot

But...


Everytime I use FaceGen this happens.




I really want to be able to make FaceGen based faces :md:


I'm gonna do this I'll just post step by step everything I do:


--Step 1: So I make a face.




--Step 2: I export as obj. Head and eyes too.




--Step 3: I want to put it on a new player that I made.




--Step 4: I give this new player a non-generic face first.





- Works in the game and has a non generic face now.
Everything good for now.







--Step 5: I now export his face, it has the new player's correct id too.




--Step 5.2: I also export these: the face and some eyes texture with the correct id.




--Step 6: Importing to Blender like this.




--Step 7: Importing FaceGen face.




--Step 8: I rename the facegen the new id and delete the old original face.




--Step 9: I assign col0 and col1.

col0 --> Auto Mesh Paint 1

col1 --> Auto Mesh Paint 2



--Step 10: I notice this though .... (I believe in tutorials no normalmap and fnnormalmap appears)




--Step 11: The only thing I can do is delete col0 and col1 and rename normalmaps.

Same for the eyes.




--Step 12: I export the file.





--Step 13: I replace the old one.





--Step 14: I just replace the old texture. (I'll leave the ears for now).





Now in game.

Any help?
