Ok so as you see in blender I have Lingard head model and textures

Now after I export them and open the texture file in GC editor I find the original ones and not the ones I made and imported to blender



Is there anything I am supposed to press in blender so the new textures I imported save over the old ones?

There's nothing you need to press. I'm not sure why that's happening. Are you sure you exporting to a different directory than the original files?

Yes, I am creating a new directory. Should I overwrite them? BTW I don't use the blender texturing thing, I create my textures outside blender and then import them over the original ones without mapping because it's already mapped. Might that be the issue?

That shouldn't make a difference. I don't know why it doesn't work unfortunately. Are you positive that you checked the newly exported file in CG?

Yup, pretty sure. This is not the first time it happens. Last time after I was done and I was seeing the face ingame I found cuadrados texture rather than Lingards. This is weird considering They are Lingards in Blender. Do you know the DDS format the textures should be saved in? Trying to do this manually. :(

You can import the textures as bmp or png too, it doesn't matter really. In the end, the texture should be saved. Use CG File Explorer then

In GC file explorer you must use DDS to impost normal maps, you can't use PNG or BMP.

I use the install files feature with the i68 controller to install the faces..
if i was to do it that way id just need to manually place the face files and then regenerate via CG file explorer?

I used CG Explorer to do the regeneration and the same thing happened..
for some reason as soon as the revolution mod files are regenerated to workk the game wont work.

Error installing the head. Decisions of this error, I do not find. I put my head as usual, but it is not installed, and if you create a file player_142902.lua head generally disappears. Without lua file, the head remains the same. At the same time there are no errors in the blender and displayed as a normal head.
I regenerated - did not help.

Does anyone know where I can find the face texture files for the generic heads? I've exported the head models with CM 16, but I need the texture aswell of course.

That doesn't make sense. Check your fifa_tools folder if you find any files with the extension ".decompressed".
