INFESTA

The last famous footballer I've seen in a public place was Porto's CB, Ricardo Costa. He was having dinner in a table next to mine, last friday. Oh, and the restaurant offered him the dinner. The bastard gets like 40.000€ per month and they friggin' tell him not to pay. :f***:

I see Porto footballers and staff a lot (this is a small city, after all), but I leave them alone in their privacy - just the casual look. ;)
I don't get starstruck with sport athletes or tv/movie stars, just musicians. :)

Anyway, all footballers I've met were pub or club regulars: Silvinho (played in Porto and Benfica, now he's Mourinho's gk coach, really nice guy), Tavares (played for Porto, Benfica and Boavista), chatted briefly with Benny McCarthy last year on a club, with the Mighty Jankauskas on an Indoor Soccer club...

Rocky

Platini, totti, DP, Nesta, and Robbie Baggio are just a few of the other players ive met

I remember a member talked about Stoichkov here, now i know thats you :p
U said he was very unfriendly, right? did he sign autograph for fans??

For me, I've only seen some players but not talked or interacted with them.
i've seen some players when they came and play matches in Hong Kong.

Real Madrid 4-2 Hong Kong :
Figo, Zidane, Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Casillas, Raul, Salgado, Helguera, McManaman, Bravo, Solari... and Carlos Querioz as their manager that time

Brazil NT 7-1 Hong Kong :
Roberto Carlos (again!), Ronaldinho, P. Junhino, Cafu, Lucio, Robinho, Baptista, Olivera....

AC Milan training in Hong Kong : (I didnt watched the match)
Shevchenko, Maldini, Ambrosini (he has his birthdy after the match Hong Kong), Kaladze, Serginho...

I remember that McManaman havent played in that match. But after the match, most of the fans have left the stadium, some RM players (not the STARS like Zidane, Beckham, Figo..) were still playing 5-a-side training to entertain us. (the main reason may be to let the stars left first) After that, McManaman suddenly run to the front of one of the stands and took off his RM jersey and threw it to a crowd of foreign (English fans i guess) fans! My friends and I were so disappointed that he didnt come to our side. :p

Does anyone here live in Manchester? I always wonder if its easy for fans to see United players if they wait the players ourside the training ground. I hope I can go to Manchester one day to see some United players in person and hopefully get theit autographs...I will go crazy!!! does anyone try to wait for the players to leave the training ground? coz i think there will be less fans waiting if thats a training instead of a match.
