Favorite CM/FM Player

well, i just realised the other day that everytime i start a game in FM06 one of the first things i do is trying to buy Fabio Grosso and Anthony Vanden Borre, so it's only obvious that i started to think about which was my fave player off all the CMs i've played..(fyi, CM2 untill now)


for me it's gotta be Tó Madeira(CM01-02 i think, or 00-01), and most recently Grosso(FM06)

what about you other FM-aholics?

I dont really have a favourite on FM06. Superstrikers who score 1.5 goals on average per game are gone.

I guess my favourite was Lee Cooper, but that was a regen that came through my own youth system at WBA.

If I had to chose then it would be......errr........Bonanni from Palermo.

Most probably Sanli Tuncay, i always buy him whenever possible in any of my games. Awesome consistent player.

Chiquinho from FM 2006. Amazing left-back, never saw something like that.
Tó Madeira from CM 01/02. Legend. Didn't even exist, and scored loads of goals.

I actually try to vary a lot with my teams, it isn't so funny getting the same player everytime, everywhere...

Same here, I never like to buy those standard talents and end up with the same squad no matter what team you manage.

Suleiman Mohammed on 03/04. What a guy, and I just found out he's actually real. Captained Nigeria to the second place at the FIFA world u17 championships on T&T back in 2001...
Scored once, no bookings.

In FM, it's gotta be Zlatan. He is the best striker in the game when your in control of his club. He's so overrated it's not even funny, he always scores 45+ goals a season for me, it's crazy.

I've never had Fred, but it's quite a hard job getting 45+ goals every season..

well...right now in my game he has 27 league goals in 24 league games and overall he has 43 goals in 37 games

I really like playing the older CMs and buying future stars on it, for example Ronaldinho who is still at Gremio, or Riise for some random club.

Yes. He was HUGE in one of my games, found him by randomly looking through youth African teams for free-agents. Averaged 8 his whole career and never had a bad game.

I knew he was real, and was disappointed when nothing ever became of him

They have him as a forward, though, and he used to be a DC/DMC in 2001.

Players I always buy would be Iraola, Beh-Haim, Lahm, Shevchenko and Ballack. I don't always succeed, but since I always play with my favorite team (Chelsea), then it's not much of a problem. Tbh, I couldn't remember my favourite players. But when I played FM, I always look out for the Dutch players and always signed Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
