Favouite football moment of 2004?

Now that 2005 is upon us, I just want everyones to look back on 2004 and Post your opinion on what was your favouite football moment of 2004?

There are a few that stand out for me:-

- Arsenal's 38 game perfect league season
- Porto winning the UEFA Champions League
- Greece winning the European Championship
- Rooneys Hat-trick on debut for Man Utd against fenerbahce in the C/L
- Barcelona's remergence as a major force once again in world football

Personally being a liverpool fan and because i was there on the night , mine has to be the 3-1 comback in the Champs League against Olympiacos and that 25 yard strike by Steven Gerrard!

I think the match between Portugal and England was the best of 2004. And it had a good ending!

there were alot of great moments

but the one i will remember the most was Greece, the ultimate underdog

where charisteas scored the header we were all shocked and couldnt believe it. that was the moment i really wont forget

close 2nd: roma 4 - 0 juve
