sounds like a line that could be used for the ongoing Chelsea-Atleti-Courtois topic ...

Not really, no one has ever suggested that our only hope is that Courtois won't play. We would prefer him not to play, it would be sweet to get 10m were he to play, but it is not really a question of hope. Certainly not 'only hope'.

Seems like something Chelsea could appeal after the fact and be granted 10m because Atletico played him. A contract is a contract. CAS isn't going to buy the stupid UEFA argument, which is awesome, but also completely non-legal.

Even Pedro. I don't trust him anymore.

Do you really think that Cesc Fabregas is a replacement for Xavi?

According to me, the reason for Barcelona's struggles is MAINLY due to Xavi's age AND the fact that Fabregas is over-rated.

Your thoughts?

Of course, it's obvious that Xavi is not the same player. We miss the old Xavi and this is one of the reasons (if not the main one) why Barcelona is not the same team. Our midfield is slow and predictable, we are lucky with Iniesta but he is not like Xavi. Both of them are unique and have their own style, something you won't see at other players.

Fabregas is a very good player but he is different, he is not that good for Barça current style. The team should be built around him. We've seen what he is capable for Barcelona or Spain, when he is the leader.

I also think we should change the formation. 4-2-3-1 with Busquets-Cesc/Iniesta; Neymar-Messi-Alexis; ST / Busquets-Cesc; Iniesta-Messi-Alexis; Neymar ... or Alexis ST, he is so awesome there when he plays for Chile.

We need a ST for the B plan.

Klopp isn't leaving Dortmund. Why does everyone keep mentioning him? He's going to see out his contract at least, the man is loyal.

When does it expire? I would like to see him build a side that can challenge on two fronts but that won't be Moyesed within a year.

Barça's Juvenil A team defeat Benfica 3-0 to win the UEFA Youth League championship!

Great future for El Haddadi and Adama Traore!

Quintilla is a piece of shit though. Atleast I think it was him. Acting, diving and always complaining after hard fouls committed by him.
Probably got some advice from Busquets.

wow!! those are some strong allegations against Messi. If true, maybe it belongs on Sir Didiers Messi thread??

Arnau, what say you? I mean, based on his current performances, he does seem to be saving himself for the WC. Or it could just be pure coincidence... :\

Well, apparently he doesn't like playing on the wing, he truly demonstrated that against Atleti. And he's won everything with Barcelona, time for a change perhaps? :o

Probably yeah probably saving himself for the World Cup, but a player of his calibre doesn't have to go to the lengths of not trying at all on the field. You cannot really blame his injury, because when he wants, he performs, and performs really well.

I wanted to say something else as well but forgot, anyway doesn't matter. I wish him all the best in Brazil.
