Ahahahha. Seeing Mandieta6 pretty much tearing Xaviesta apart (and rightfully) without leaving him with a proper chance to respond is always a fun read. I mean he always could, but his original posts are something which makes it difficult for the guy, if not impossible to come up with a sensible answer explaining why he said X thing in the first place.

Aleix signed for 5 seasons and we paid 18M for him. Really great deal.

Nah. I believe that Denis Suárez played some part with you guys signing Aleix Vidal from them. So he's going to spend another year on loan at Sevilla. Your team and Sevilla seem to share a pretty good relationship.

Agreed about Dani Alves, he looked like a shadow of his former self during the last couple of seasons, but really picked up this season.

I don't see Deulofeu having a future in this Barça team. The guy is too egocentric and not really a team player. I believe he himself has stated that he would like to play for Everton again, most likely on loan.

Wasn't a problem for Suarez.

We all have a tendency to equate the times spent out of the squad due to suspension/being unregistered with those spent being out injured, or clubless, but of course this is bad logic. If they treat it as a holiday they will get fat and unfit, like Kolo Toure did, but with the right attitude they can still train and maintain fitness constantly and learn the tactics and strategies of their new club, and then they will have the advantage of joining the team when completely fresh and raring to go whilst those around them (and opposing them) have all been playing week in week out for four months already.

Aleix Vidal seemed so nervous at the presentation today, and he looked like he didn't know what he had to do next. Last one I remember like that was Yaya in 2007 who couldn't even juggle on the pitch.

Also, the kit looks good, and last two times we had red shorts we won the double. (2011 and 2006)
