How come nobody says anything about the major **** up by Valdes? Barca needs an important keeper. I've always thought that.

Valdés is class, very consistent GK wich never fail in the important moments, give us 2 CL for example, and his performace in el clàssic its always great.

^ yup ... Víctor Valdés is not only a cantera player, but he is Catalan too ... and there is no shortage of people associated with the club who love bragging about the Catalan and cantera players ... Valdés certainly has been given a lot more lifelines than would have been afforded to most others not of his "nationality" ... but that is no surprise when the region, let alone the club, is infamous for its jingoism (like other clubs and regions in the country) ...

there's no denying he's got skill, though ... and he had an epic final few months last season, with some legendary moments, which cemented his legendary status ... but you always know there's a brain fade lurking just around the corner ...

it may sound a little harsh, but I continue to advocate bringing in Sébastien Frey ... now there is a truly superlative goalkeeper ...

Valdes was as consistent as of late and especially against top teams.

I’m a bit concerned about Lionel’s fitness, I hope it doesn't affect Barca's performance.
