Alexis is great, but already reached his peak. He scored more last year because he was already an established player in the squad at his third season. Neymar was at his 1st season outside Brazil and he did quite well though.

All I'm arguing against is the line of thinking that says "he's scoring so much, and he's on the wing which makes it more impressive!" If it was someone like Becks or Jesus Navas, then yeah it would be impressive, but these types of wingers score more than traditional #9s now.

Well he literally provides stats and facts such as who was recognized as the best player in certain years despite what stats say. All you do is go "37!" and then baldly assert this means he is second only to two all-time greats. Here's something for you; I purposely didn't mention his name because you would probably jizz your pants, but Suarez is also better.
Neymar has 22 goals in the league, why aren't you using that figure? No one uses total numbers unless you're talking about a record because there are too many variables.
